Super friendly staff. I’m from Guatemala and I loved it. Parking is a bit challenging but it’s ok. Restrooms had a long line ☹️ so I just left. Overall it’s a good experience ?Parking: Park on a nearby street.

My first visit to Pollo Campero was last night. I am not often in this part of SF. I made a special trip to taste and see. No regrets.I ordered a three piece grilled chicken meal online. There is a quick, painless system set up for retrieving the to go order.I was allowed to eat at a table, even though they were in closing mode, wiping down surfaces. I came in shortly before the doors were locked. It’s advisable to not do this. The grilled chicken was pretty good, well cooked, but was not served piping hot. It is marinated, coated with lime/seasonings. I might like the fried chicken better. Next time.I’m thinking, the sides are where Pollo Campero shines the most. I was glad to discover the distinction of the fare served here being Guatemalan. It matters to me.The one side included with the meal was my selection of plantains. Outstanding! Sautéed expertly, bursting with bright flavor. Caramelized/crunchy, deeply seared, soft/fluffy inside. I’d return just to get them. They included a many corn tortillas to take home. I got the roll. One comes with the meal, you get a choice of tortilla or bread. My drink was average. I love agua fresca, and jamaica does not usually call for extra sweetness. Splenda made it tastier.Overall, nothing too much for complaints. I'll return to sample different items on the menu. Lots of goodness there to choose from.

Chicken doesn't taste like country food, it doesn't have a country season. I traveled from Sacramento to San Francisco to eat country food, but I was very disappointed. I was promoting El savor campero to be proud of something Guatemalan, but I can't help knowing that it's not the people. who is not Guatemalan like Mr. Zapata thought he was good but a Guatemalan is not good

The food is very delicious, the waitresses are very attentive, very friendly, super comfortable, the only thing they have to improve is the bathroom because it takes one more time waiting in line for the bathroom than it does to eat.

Delicious deep fried chicken served hot out of the oil. The atmosphere is comfortable. The service is friendly and polite. I enjoy putting hot sauce on my plate and dipping pieces of the chicken in the hot sauce. Hmmm! It's on Mission Street in San Francisco between 24th and 23rd Streets. Much more than chicken.

It's been ages since I've had Pollo Campero, and I was really looking forward to it. However, I was thoroughly disappointed with the taste—it was dry, unpleasant, unappetizing, even had a bitter, burnt-like flavor. ???? Whether it was overcooked or just old, I can't say. What I can say is that serving this kind of food is unacceptable. This experience left me with an undesired feeling to return. It's incredibly frustrating to have made the effort to have driven all the way to SF for such a disappointing meal. Save yourself the hassle and expense by steering clear of their food, especially if you live further up the peninsula like I do.Provided some reference photos for this unpleasant and simply NASTY chicken.???????????????
