I echo what I’ve read from others. Not very busy but very slow! Many people working but they must be occupied by other tasks. 20+ minutes for drink, food came out way ahead of drink. I thought it was a fluke but second drink also took longer than one would anticipate given occupancy, perhaps lots of room service? The space is great though. Definitely better than waiting in an airport lounge, with the expectations of speed of alcohol. If they can push booze out faster… big plus to all.

I splurged and decided to stay overnight at the SFO Grand Hyatt prior to a flight, and since we were already splurging, also decided to eat here for dinner. It was ... ok. I got the Wagyu Burger, which was tasty, but the steak fries that accompanied it were way too salty. Service was friendly, but slow -- it took about 40 minutes for our food to come out, and the restaurant didn't seem overly busy at the time. In addition, the drinks we ordered came out at very different times -- my wife got her glass of wine fairly promptly, but it took the bar another 10-15 minutes for my margarita. At least the interior decor and view of the airport terminals and tarmac were spectacular, making the wait a little more enjoyable. It's worth eating here for the view and ambience, but there are a number of other much more affordable dining options at the airport (pre-security) that you can get to easily by hopping onto the AirTrain, so at least you're not a captive audience!

I have eaten here four times now and every meal is incredible, and for an airport hotel restaurant, truly unbelievable. The hotel is lovely in every way, miles beyond the alternatives. But the restaurant is one of the reasons I stay here whenever I have a morning flight. Tonight had the lobster miso bisque, and the seared scallops, and I don't think I've had better versions of either in a decade. The scallops and the lobster were as tender as they could ever be and the flavors were amazing. Service and ambience is great too. They have wines by the glass that you normally must pay for a bottle - and a first rate twist on a Paper Plane if you're a cocktail person. Be sure to get a table by the window to watch the planes...

We flew in late from Maui, just one hour before the Quail and Crane close for the evening. We had enough time to enjoy some amazing cocktails before diving into dinner. I had the kimchi fried rice and my husband had the wagyu burger with duck fat fries, both of which were executed well. Not only was the food and beverage delicious, the chef came and chatted with us as we were seated on the chef's counter. The service and atmosphere were really pleasant. I regret we only stayed one night and flew out early the next morning, otherwise we would be dining there multiple times. We are still thinking about that tasty meal.

Loved it! What I needed after a long flight from Miami. Super fresh food, great service. Not a huge fan of the menus on iPads but the kids thought they were cool. Speaking of that, they had kids menu options which were great. Also their Moscow mule was great and they had a few other specialty cocktails as well. Highly recommend, especially if you have time to kill around SFO or you are staying at the Hyatt.

this is a funny review. We started out a little shaky they misplaced our order but when they figured this out and realized we hadn't eaten they made it so right that the service just has to get five stars. The food was incredible inventive and nummy. The chef actually served us at our table he felt so bad about the Lost order he was so nice. The atmosphere is really cool and sophisticated.

Called a week ahead for reservations. Arrived and they had it wrong from the hour to my name to the number of people. So that was failure #1. They didn't have a table big enough for our group and why we called a week ahead. Luckily there was still a table for my group. Service was ok. Wasn't very organized, but that's fine. Food was delicious, but I would skip the crispy pork fried rice. It was little gross. Everything else was really good. From the pasta to the sushi. Very glassy hotel. decor was upscale. prices were triple the norm. $25 for like a rainbow roll. Drinks were also super pricey. There is no self parking here. You can valet for $45 I think or park it at SFO and take the red line to the hotel. Just one stop.

The food was delicious. It has a bit of a limited selection for sushi, however the ones they have are well fresh. My ahi tuna poke was the best out of the dishes I tried, which were the lobster bisque (a tad bit too salty) and the pork dumplings (which I liked but not as much as the ahi tuna)The menu is on an iPad.There is a kids menu that is hidden in the "hotel" section that has burgers, chicken strips, spaghetti, and pizza. The decor was upscale and decently quiet. The dinning room is bright with lots of windows and lights. The kitchen is open but you don't hear too much clanking pots and pans.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu that is hidden in the "hotel" section that has burgers, chicken strips, spaghetti, and pizza.Wheelchair accessibility: It is all flat, single level dining and there are chairs that can be pulled away so you can roll right up to the standard height table.

Stopped overnight at grand Hyatt SFO which is an awesome hotel. Their restaurant, the quail and crane was an excellent option for dinner. Interesting and varied menu of Asian fusion. They offer an amazing burger too. We’d go back in a heartbeat. Make a reservation to avoid waiting.
