Chill place, open late. Friendly owner. Cool area. A lot of funky, quirky art on the walls. What more can you ask for when it comes to a simple little bar/food place in San Francisco?

They only had two options, beef or vegetarian empanadas, AND THEY MICROWAVED THEM! I was with a Hispanic friend and I was utterly embarrassed. Pre pandemic it was good. WTF? No tips on missing R2 unit

Oh my god, the empenadas - to die for. My friend and I split one and it was a great little snack. Amazing alfajor cookies also. Quaint little space with eclectic art. Indoor and outdoor seating. They do accept card/Apple Pay.

By far my favorite bar in SF! Leila is a legend and the music is unbeatable. A home away from home <3

I think maybe the reason some people give this place a low rating is because they're focused on the wrong things. This place is a museum.I stumbled into Radio Habana on my way to the 24th Street Bart. I had a long ride ahead of me and I needed to, ahem, use the facilities. I sat down and suddenly realized I had been transported to the San Francisco I missed so much. I moved in 1997, and there were still traces of the fantastic city that was home to artists, freaks, and fabulousness. It's still a wonderful city, but the hippy energy was intense. There was a cello performance out front with patrons gathered in the cold watching. Inside, a wonderful crone was serving tea and advice. I felt hugged by the whole experience. Don't come there hoping for a "whoo we got so drunk" good time - come to take in the artwork, the ambiance, and the music.I didn't have anything to eat or drink because it was a utility stop, but the place is emblazoned in my mind forever. Go Radio Habana!!

Stephanie (Just my opinion)

The best little hole in the wall for live entertainment, wine, and empanadas. Layla is the best!Parking is limited, so give yourself some extra time.

Stopped by on my way home for some great live music and dancing in the street.

The most under-rated place in SF. This place is for you if you are into art, politics, poetry, intellectual discussions, live music.

Cash only! Got a pitcher of sangria for $26 to share among a group of 3. Came on a Saturday night around 9pm. They have live music, which is a cool vibe to chill to if you're in the mission district. We just happened to stumble upon here after eating dinner around the area.

A jewel in the Mission district. Love the outside concerts in the street terrace :)

We ended up randomly in tHabana Social Club and were lucky enough to get the last bit of live performance. Such a funky, lovely and lively spot in the mission. The sangria is soo good (cash only).
