We went early, 5:30 on a Friday night. Just arrived in SF and still on East coast time. Our daughter booked the reservation and we were happy she did. I had the Tonnarelli Alla Capricciosa. Just the right amount. Soooo good!My wife had one of the fish specials. Didn’t get a pic but she loved it! Ricotta tart for me for dessert was as good as it looked in the pic. But our daughter’s dessert (a pear-centric dish) took the award for plating. Not only was neat to look at, but it was also delicious!Keep up the good work!

My darling wife and I had a wonderful dinner. The ambiance was very nice and the food was excellent. Our service staff did an outstanding job, what a great dining experience, thank you.

Authentic Italian dining experience. The tonnarelli pasta was incredibly unctuous and savory with the perfect balance of mushrooms, cream and ground Italian sausage. I would absolutely order it again. The rigatoni all'Amatriciana was bright, tart, from the tomato sauce, and offset by the slight salty, savory quality of the pork cheek. Service was just right. The accents of the wait staff charmed. The location is small, a plus, spare, and a bit cool. Otherwise, a nice neighborhood spot, though worth the drive from outside the city too.

Extremely pleasant Italian staff . Tge food was freshly prepared with seasonal dishes not just the same predictable menu Delicious beet raviolis freshly made Overall a very pleasant experience in a nice cozy Russian Hill neighborhood Possibly the tables could do with some nice placemats and a few flowers to add to the ambience

Ristorante Milano never disappoints in delicious food, impeccable service and romantic ambiance. It's off the beaten path but it's always our first choice in San Francisco for authentic Italian. Very reasonable for fresh pasta dishes and special entrees. However, every dish we've tried has always exceeded our expectations. Aldo, the owner, greets and treats all of his guests with genuine care as does Maurizio, an outstanding server. Perfecto.

We picked Milano by accident but were pleasantly surprised. The service was very attentive and on point. The food was very very good. Burrata appetizer was excellent. Arugula salad was delicious and the pastas were outstanding. Presentation and portions were excellent.

For such a busy night (Valentines Day), the owner and staff had everything in mind and in order. We were seated on time, did not feel rushed, had a lovely meal and were thanked by name as we left. Thank you for an intimate dining experience. We will be back!

For a classic Italian restaurant with a SF Russian Hill feel, pick Ristorante Milano, with Aldo and his staff. I have been dining here since the mid nineties and it never disappoints. eat local always

This neighborhood gem has been open for 35 years. It epitomizes superb Italian food. It is cozy and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The owner, Also, is from Rome. The servers are also Italian.

The charm of the space, the attentiveness of the wait staff, to say nothing of the delicious food is OUTSTANDING. It has a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel as if you are welcome to stay all night. That's special indeed. I had the swordfish and it was perfectly cooked with a delicious complement of vegetables.

Everything was amazing, the waiters were from Italy and overjoyed to share this dining experience, haven't had food this good since I was in Italy. If you are looking for a friendly well priced and amazing dining experience in San Francisco look no further than Ristorante Milano.
