We only ordered the vegan options and were pleasantly surprised! If you're looking for traditional sushi rolls like Dragon Roll and California Rolls but want them to be plant based, this is the place to go. Other restaurants like Shizen don't try to mimic fish, while this place does try to reproduce eel and tuna, and they do a good job at it!Vegetarian options: Vegan dragon roll, vegan avocado tuna roll

I got the omakase 16 pc. It was good! There was a lot of flavor. It has my favorites yellowtail, toro, scallops, uni, and salmon.

Hi m not a big sushi fan, but my daughter was craving and we made our way here. Cute little spot in North Beach. We had the 49ers roll, Dutchie roll, and dragon roll. I especially liked the Dutchie, probably because it was vegetarian. My daughter said the dragon was "fire." (See how she did that! ). Give it a try and see if you have a favorite. Their selection is huge.

As a warning, they are slow with take out because it’s a small place, but food is great!

Amazing sushi, great price. I did wait awhile to get my food (I was the only one in the restaurant) but it was worth it!

Super delicious! Had the dragon roll and the 49ers roll and they both were really good. The 49ers roll has onion chips and fuji apple and it was bomb! Also they have the freshest ginger I've ever had in a Japanese restaurant. Definitely recommended.

The fish at Sancha Sushi is some of the freshest I have had! Usually, I dip my sushi in spicy mayo or yum yum sauce, but of the five rolls I tasted, none of them required a dip in any sauce. Everything was delicious. The pepper tuna roll and sweet potato roll were some of my favorites. The server was also very kind and did a great job.The place is compact with maybe 10 or so tables, a cozy feeling with bright pink walls and a view of the sushi chefs. The venue was a bit warm but since we went in the evening, it was not uncomfortable. It did take a little time to get some of the dishes we ordered but it was quite busy for the holiday weekend. If you want high quality sushi, definitely check this place out!

The Vegan California Roll is great, and so is the J-O-B roll.

I think this is a fairly new spot in North Beach? Anyways we were having a sushi craving so we ended up here - the interior is very modern hipster with the whole pink wall vibe they have going on. The prices are pretty fair, I got a Hawaiian bowl with a TON of poke for $12 which was super convenient. We also split 2 rolls which was more than enough for a party of 3. I also highly recommend the honey butter fish, it was my fav part of the meal. The service is very slow since there was only one waitress, but good sushi takes time to prepare right?

Delicious sushi and generous portions! Great bang for you buck here. I've finally found my new Sf sushi spot.

Sancha Sushi is a great new sushi spot in north beach. Their fish is really fresh and they have creative combos. Be warned - the rolls are HUGE. Order half the amount you normally would!

Solid spot for large groups, lots of rolls and variety. A bit on saucier side.

Nisaa has always given such a welcoming environment. She’s so funny, helpful, and great at optimizing our dinner experience! Whenever I think sushi I think Sancha. I’m so lucky to live nearby!!! Thank you Nisaa and the entire Sancha Sushi team.

Decorated with inviting hipster-like pink walls, this place serves high quality, unique, fresh sushi that won't break your bank! Every roll we tried was impressive, and had such good value. The diameter of the fish was comparable to the rice, the and the sushi rolls were bigger than you average roll. Everything was a highlight! The honey butter fish is a must get. The truffle oil was a nice touch to the already rich bite of soft fish. The night nurse roll was also adventurous, and the shiso leaf cut the fattiness of the monkfish liver roll. The 49ers roll also had super soft and fatty salmon. Though I'm a tuna girl, the salmon definitely impressed me here. The crispy roll also had amazing value. Gatekeep this place!!
