David, our server, provided an amazing experience with menu explanation to food and drink suggestions. He and his team kept our drinks full and the food coming. The atmosphere is super lively with refreshing decor. Love the beautiful blue mosaic and stone walls. We (table for 2) were sat at the same time as three larger parties (6-10). David made us feel as though we were his only table tho, he managed all of us at the same time... maybe superman's cousin? We enjoyed 'Ready 4 Anything', Brussel Sprouts, Butterleaf Salad, Charcuterie, Duck Confitt, Flan and their signature Espresso Gelato. Lucky us, resturant week! Would recommend this location found on the third floor above the Embarcadero and conveniently located to the Hyatt Regency. Go and Enjoy!!

Honestly this was a bit of a disappointment. The atmosphere was extremely noisy, the service for a party of 12 spending a lot of money was not impressive and the food was mediocre. Steak was hard to chew, fish was overcooked, and dessert was marginal. The highlight was the brussel sprouts. With so many other choices in the area I would pass on this one.

Food: 4-5/5Ambiance: Formal casualDepending on the dish, it’s a 4-5. I thought the Mediterranean spreads were very tasty and flavorful (5/5). The Brussels sprouts and crab dip are a 5 for me.I personally really enjoyed the paella since I enjoy my paella with meats, but flavor wise, it wasn’t one of the top tier paella I’ve had. Pork chop and lamb were nice (4) and flavorful but not the top dishes for me. A ton of business clients and folks go for happy hour.

A friend recommended, having lunch and we showed up here and out without reservation. We were probably seated. The decor is classy and truly Mediterranean with elements of architecture built into this modern concrete structure. The entrance with the mosaic of stonework is beautiful. We were going to have dinner, so I went for a late lunch and I ordered the Fattoush salad, which comes with lemon vinaigretteand sumac. For protein I chose falafel which served were hot and crispy. It was an excellent salad, but because I was working, I avoided having a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which will perfectly match with this combination of citrus sumac, vegetables and falafel.

We had a lovely lunch reception at Sens and it was just perfect! The relaxed ambiance and beautiful view added to the experience. Our server was very friendly and attentive, keeping the food and drinks coming. I was particularly impressed with their drink menu, as their beverages were perfection!

It was our first time, and what a great experience! Great service, great food (duck pate is a must) and drinks, and great place for lunch with friends. Will definitely be back for lunch and dinner.

Much like every restaurant that we go to now in SF, the menu choices are reduced and some of the choices that you used to love are no longer there. However, given the reduced choices the food is still very good. I hope that there will be expansions to the menus as the economy recovers in the Financial District.

The shrimps in garlic sauce were very good. Not astounding but very good. The cream puff was very good. The strip steak was not good.... rather tough and the meat was not that flavorful. I had a tough time cutting through it and took forever to chew. Sad about that. Otherwise the service and atmosphere were very nice.

Sens is a neighborhood gem. Really terrific food and a lovely space. The service is outstanding. We had the roasted brussels sprouts and pork chop, which was perfectly done. My only slight suggestion is that I wish they would expand their selection of wines by the glass.

Consistently good and interesting food accompanied by good execution and service. Also, nice location for a financial district restaurant— great views and easy access to the Embarcadero and Ferry Building.
