Walked in at 8pm on Thursday.... There was one (1!) Customer at the bar...Needless to say I didn't stay, turned around and went shopping at Costco.I think gay apps have destroyed society. If you want to try a niche market for a night, sponsor a PHONE FREE SPEED DATING or something more organic. It will bring a crowd.

I visited The SF Eagle last September. I will return this weekend: I highly recommend it. You have fun, you listen to great music and all the people are friendly and receptive. Excellent place!

Seem like they have lost control of their audience... bad website parties have become bland and boring.. no differences then most other places. Kind of over this Eagle. Most other Eagles are far better.

They gay white bar back threatened to jump on my gurlfriend I bought there for the first time he told her to put a Gatorade in her bag it was not being drunk there when you had other White gay males opening outside beverages and food that wasn't bought at this gay bar he told her I will beat your ass and throw you out of this gay bar 12/4/22 . date it happened 12:35 pm .
Pure JOY is hanging at this classy, classic SF legend I've seen some scorching movies staged/filmed in this place in the 80's/90's so I was thrilled our band the Golden Seed Garden got to play here. Well the entire night was easy, fun, with GREAT sound, tasty drinks, and an appreciative audience- and the staff were pleasant and accommodating the entire night. As it happens I left my backpack there when we loaded out- my treasured Bluetooth speaker, $500 cash, other stuff- and don't you know they put it in list and found and I got it next night with no problem I highly recommend this place for sexy friendly fun times

Like other people have said, the bartenders are rude and have attitude. I walked up to the bar when it was relatively empty inside and the bartender just stared at me, no acknowledgement. I asked for an Eagle lemonade and he very curtly said “a WHAT.” So I explained that I saw it on their menu behind him. He made no acknowledgment of this, went to check their lemonade tap, and mumbled “I guess.”Overall ruined my mood. In my opinion, it would be better to take your money elsewhere, there’s so many good bars in SF with nicer staff.
