Once again, I feel like I'm invisible here. Their baristas are very condescending. I go there to enjoy a coffee for taste and for its ability to wake me up for work and I end up with a bad taste in my mouth from their attitude and a horrible mood from being treated like a vagabond from the gutter.

Never head a problem with this store before, but last couple of times has been pretty bad with being overcharged. The deli has a special deal where a sandwich in particular is $8 (which includes a soda and a small bag of chips when you swipe your card) which I have been getting that. I tell the deli rep I want that particular sandwich deal. Both times I get rung up and they charge me $8.99 (for a build your own sandwich) and another $2.50 for the soda and chips. Instead of paying $8 I got charged an extra $3.50. Both times I question them and they tell me I have to go to customer service, which there is always a line and I only have 40 minutes left on my lunch. What's the point of having a special deal if you are charging us full price.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS LOCATION. I understand we're all experiencing hardship because people don't want to work but at this location that's not the case. They want everybody to use self check out Two people are watching self checkout and nobody can get anything like lotion cotton balls or tooth paste or brush because it's only on person trying to help 5-10 people at a time unlock that stuff before three locks and door because we have to suffer because the homeless still thank you Safeway!

I was buying a lot of beverages and had the cashier scan the items in the cart. Checking my receipt later I saw 3 extra cases of soda, 1 extra water and an additional 8.99 meal added to the totals. I tried calling the number on the receipt but was placed in a hold for over 1/2 an hour, so I tried calling the corporate customer service number. Quickly got a real person, who kept breaking up. Explaining what happened I'm told I need to send a photo of the receipt to an email address, meanwhile he's reading the receipt. Can't agree on how many cases they charged me for. 11. Eventually he asked for the exact total overcharged. Um, 5 qty Coca Cola, crv tax, member savings... I don't know about the tax... Something close to $40. He figured $24, and wasn't counting the soda cases correctly. After almost an hour I was frustrated with the time I was wasting and he told me that it was documented, if I wanted a refund to go to the store, talk to customer service and then the manager would decide if I get a refund. Oh, and did I send the photo of the receipt? Dude! I have been on the phone for almost an hour, when would I have been able to? He put me on hold and about 10 minutes later hung up. I admit that I should have looked more closely at the receipt while in the store, but the experience of shopping there was so awful. My friend drove me because of the large soda order, and when we parked noticed a nearby car broken windows. He felt unsafe leaving his truck unattended so I went in alone. While waiting in line a loud disturbance near the exit between a man and 2 security guards went on long enough I called my friend to tell him it was crazy in there and I was almost out. He was going to shop next while I watched the truck, but I told him that the long lines were not worth it.

Hmm I failed! I didn't notice this minor mistake until I got home ready to light the candles I paid for the cake before pick up and was shown the cake before it was boxed I hope it at least taste good

Refused to cash out my $5 gift card and told me I would have to call a number and wait 7-10 days because they assumed I was just another black dude running a ponzi scam. Completely unempathetically made me miss my appointment at the hospital to have an infected suture restitched. Showed them the open wound, and was told to "pull my shirt down"They don't value the health of customers and former partners!!

Stupid clerk in self check doesn't know where the sparkley water was. She said to check aisle 6 or 13. We lined up in a checkout and low and behold there it was in front of one of the checkouts! I stopped another clerk and he didn't know and didn't say a word to us, like sorry I can't find it. Very rude and unprofessional. These clerks should know where their products are. I don't work there and we saw there were two other displays in the other checkouts.

When I shop at Safeway, I bring along clipped coupons or deals on the Safeway app. The problem: the items I want to buy on sale are always out of stock. Today's deals on Value Corner eggs and Homel 24 oz Black label Bacon not stocked, Lucerne non fat yogurt, not stocked, Vitamin Water, 6 pack, not stocked, and on and on. Not good customer relations Safeway, Webster St. SF.
