Thai and Japanese restaurant, although I would say the menu leans more to Thai, with ramen being the Japanese highlight.Plenty of seating, we visited on a Sunday evening and it was not overly busy.Food:We ordered the Lunar wings, crispy chicken wings with a spicy sauce. I could definitely taste the fish sauce in this dish. Was a tad salty for me, could definitely eat it with some rice on the side. Wings were all flats, which honestly was a bonus for me.Then, as recommended by the reviews we ordered the pa lo stew which is braised pork belly and it comes with a braised garbled hardboiled egg and rice on the side. The pork belly was tender and fatty, the sauce brought notes of clove/cinnamon. Definitely a salty rice-chaser dish, again, a bit salty for me.Lastly was the pad see you, thick stir fried noodles, you can choose your protein but we ordered ours with beef. I liked that it came with a decent amount of greens too. Deliciously flavored, the texture of the noodles is quite good. Solid dish.Prices are fair. Service is a bit lacking, seemed like there were only 1.5 servers for 6+ tables.Still I would return and recommend, a great place for Asian food in this area. There are lots of other dishes I’m interested in trying like the curry and the ramen.Seating:Plenty of seating to accommodate big parties and small ones.Dietary restrictions: They're flexible on ingredients but probably still not nut safeParking: Parking on the street, mostly paid parking in the area.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room in this restaurant, venue and food are kid friendly I would sayWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the second floor, you have to go up a flight of stairs, however right in front there is a wheelchair elevator.

Service is horrible. This is the second time I have eaten here and both times we were completely forgotten about by rude waitstaff. For almost everything, we had to request it ourselves. Can we please order now (after waiting 20 mins)? Can we please have our drinks (after 30 mins)? Can we please order food now (once the drinks came)? Can we please order dessert? Can you please clear these plates? Can you please bring the check? And each time we asked, they barely spoke to us and made it as brief as possible. The food is tasty, but to deal with this two times in a row - obviously it is a sad reality of this restaurant. Would not recommend, and I won't be returning. If you want thai, try Krua Thai in mission! Great food and responsive waiters.Parking: Expensive parking on street since it is near the baseball park.

In a recent visit to a this eatery, I encountered notable issues. Despite reserving a table for a mobility-challenged guest, the out-of-service elevator was a significant oversight not communicated to us. The food, while well-presented, offered a quirky twist on crab cakes, with crab atop corn cakes. Dishes in general tended towards sweetness, lacking desired spiciness and flavor as one would expect in Thai cuisine. Overall, the experience had potential but fell short in execution, I’m hopeful for operational improvement and giving it another shoot.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator was out of order and personnel did not communicated that during booking. Make sure to confirm it’s working.

While their hours say closes to at 2pm on weekdays, they only take to-go orders after 1:30pm.

Best Thai food around this area. Very pretty ambience too! Would recommend ordering the food spicy if you can handle a little bit of a kick - they make it at a perfect level.

Some of the best Thai food I've had recently. The pad gra pao was so flavorful and I loved the soft and tender kabocha squash in the kabocha curry. The "sun rice" that was served with the curry was delicious. Service was pretty fast for weekday lunch, but I've seen this place get very busy for dinner. Cozy ambiance in the restaurant with the pretty wall art and plants. I would definitely come back again!

Ambiance: modern and cozy Thai food restaurant, serving fusion style foodService: the staff is fairly fast and reminded about last call frequently, refilled water adequately Food: Thai food and Japanese ramen on their menu PAD KEE MOW - *** SPICY FLAT RICE NOODLES STIR-FRIED WITH SNOW PEAS, BELL PEPPER, BASIL, FRESH THAI CHILI, PEP-PERCORN, AND KACHAI (RHIZOME), protein choice of chicken, noodles were fine, chicken was too dry and rubbery texture MASSAMAN NUEA - **** BRAISED BEEF IN MONEMADE MASSAMAN COCONUT CURRY WITH POTATOES, AND BURNT SHALLOTS, SERVED WITH CRISPY ROTI, rich in flavors and tender beef, the pancake was tasty with broth, recommend Price: moderate portions and reasonable prices, expect about $30 per person

It's a small shop so it can be easy to miss. It's a nicely decorated restaurant and the service there is amazing. As soon as i walked in i was able to get seated and they assisted us throughout the menu. My friend was vegetarian so the server went through the whole menu and helped her decide. We both got the Pad See You, but mine had beef and hers had tofu. Pad See You - 3.5/5-the noodles were soft and cooked to the right amount. there was also a good amount of meat which was a plus. however the pad see you was a bit bland and greasy.I'd come back to try other dishes because the restaurant was pretty inside and the service was amazing.

Sun and moon is a lovely spot to grab some good Thai food in mission bay. The inside of the restaurant is very nice, making it a lovely spot for occasions or date night. When I came to Sun and moon last I went for my friend's birthday and we ordered the crab fried rice and the pad see ew. Both of these dishes were good, however the flavor fell a bit flat, and all of the dishes were quite up-marked in price. The portions however were large and both the noodles and fried rice felt pretty standard. If you are looking for large portions and decent Thai food do check out Sun & Moon. However if you are looking for very flavorful, delicious Thai food at reasonable prices look elsewhere. I recommend Ithai and King of Thai noodle!

Ordered Sun and Moon for pickup for a group of six. Ordering online was very easy and pick up was smooth. We were bringing the food to a friend's place only a couple min away from the restaurants so the food held up well for to go and kept its heat. Overall, the meal was solid but there were a couple items that threw our entire group off:The som tum goong salad (traditional papaya salad) was flavorful and tasty, but the flavor also seemed different than papaya salad we were used to. Maybe we've all eaten a different type from other restaurants but we all agreed that it just tasted different. As mentioned, though it was still a tasty dish but just dropping a disclaimer. The massaman nuea actually upset me. This dish consists of braised beef in massaman curry and, when I think of braised meats, I thik of something that has been cooked over time in liquid to yield a tender product. Anything thats added into the liquid (i.e. potatoes, carrots, etc should all be cooked to perfect tenderness as well). I was really disappointed to see baby carrots placed on top of the dish, like the type of baby carrots you buy from a plastic bag at the grocery store. On top of that, the carrot was crunchy and raw, which indicted that it wasn't even cooked with the braise. It felt like an afterthought, especially for a $26 dish.Highlights of the menu included the green curry, pad see you, and pad Thai, which were all packed with flavor. My two favorites were the curry and pad see you. I've always been a huge fan of the restaurant's yellow curry so it was awesome to see that another cury was delicious; I have faith that all their curries are definitely highlight.

Came here for dinner after watching the cirque du soleil show at the Chase center and I must say this place was so good!!!! I'm glad my hubby found it as the food was so flavorful and delicious and the service was very fast and attentive. Place is super cute and cozy with nice artwork on the walls for photos. Definitely a place I would want to come back to again!
