I took my partner here for his birthday and it did not disappoint! The service, the ambiance, and most importantly, the food were all fantastic. There wasn't an average element to any part of the omakase and the service was impeccable. Would love to visit again!

Customer service is great! We had the omakase with their sake pairing, which I highly recommend. Their pours were huge! Definitely worth the splurge.

Finally getting around to this but wow! One of the best omakase experiences I’ve had outside of Japan. From the friendly greeting by the staff to the manager-san checking on and serving the guests alongside the waitstaff, the service is indicative of true Japanese hospitality. We decided on a delicious bottle of Junmai Daiginjo Sake to accompany the Valentine’s day menu! The fish was an amazing experience around the world with fish from Japan, NZ, Spain, Jeju and beyond. All expertly put together by the chef who had a great personality! It’s my personal preference when you can meet and chat with the chef as he prepares the course. Also for all the sushi lovers, the fresh ginger was so good we had to get refills because we kept snacking on it.

My partner and I were excited to try our first omakase experience. I saw a good review of this place and made a reservation right away (over a month in advance ?).We went on a Sunday night, early at 5:30 pm. We were the 4th couple to arrive. The staff greeted us warmly and directed us to our seats. Everything was delicious. I normally don't eat eggplant, but enjoyed the dish they served. I also ended up getting the beverage pairing. It was my first time having that much sake. It was interesting how different, but pleasant it was compared to my usual, which is wine.We both left feeling full, but not overly so.Highly recommended.
Excellent quality omakase sushi with truffle and caviar at very reasonable fixed price $125. Friendly knowledgeable sushi chefs at sushi bar were a pleasure as were very attentive restaurant staff. Very nice well curated wine and sake list.

My girlfriend and I visited last year and it was the best omakase experience we ever had. 5/5 rating we would have given it then. The food and service were so top tier so we were easily excited to come back this past weekend.Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the meal experience this time around. For a near $500 meal (2x omakase, 1 bottle of wine, tax and tip), they were bringing out dishes out of order, the service was slow, and the worst part was that the rice was stale and dry! I’m not sure if it was underseasoned or undercooked, but it really took away from the high quality fish. My partner and I also noticed big differences in each bite, as she commented on tasting wasabi on certain nigiri where I didn’t (and vice versa). In a city that has so many good omakase options, we probably won’t be coming back since it was so disappointing.

This was my fiancé's and my first time having an omakase experience, and it was everything we expected it to be and more. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcomed. Every dish was amazing, and it consistently got better every time an item was served. This was a special date night for us and we will be coming back and recommending this establishment to our friends and family. Thank you Sushi Hon staff!

Enjoyed our counter side omakase experience. Was able to have a good interaction with the sushi chefs and the staff was very accomodating. 16 Dish omakase experience was filling and so good!!
