Awesome Omakase experience! The host was so welcoming, describing the dishes, and offering drink suggestions.

They have omakase, which I would very much recommend. It's one bite of everything, and the chef makes it right there. Don't worry, you'll be full by the end lolDietary restrictions: They ask you when about allergies and restrictions when you sit down so you'll be fine unless you have a seafood allergy

I've been twice and it's been wonderful both times. The service is great. They're nonjudgmental, are happy to answer questions and give recommendations, all sushi we had was delicious, the scallops and crab risotto are ?. And it's a chill atmosphere. Love this

Service was outstanding. Our sushi chef, Youg was gracious and extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes. All hosts were attentive, friendly and pleasant. All courses were elegant, elevated, thoughtful. It was our first omakase and it did not disappoint! Neighborhood is a bit rough and plan ahead to find parking!

Excellent service! Beautiful restaurant and the vibes are immaculate! Such a great date spot or a special occasions place. The staff were so friendly and the food was phenomenal! Each fish tasted so buttery and fresh! Will definitely come back!

We have reservation at 8:00 pm. We arrived in time but were told we have to wait. We wait until 8:30 to be seated, 8:40 we ordered and they told us due to high volume. We can not order food but tasting menu only. Fine. and until 9:07,there was no food. In addition, a waiter came and asked to take order?? What? You said only tasting menu and we have ordered!!While I am waiting I can't bear more and writing this review. This is valentine day, we drive from South Bay to here. Worst experience ever.Ridiculous the waiter explained as he was asking for anything to drink? Without you ever provide a drink menu??Be alert! Never go here for your important day.

An incredible Michelin recommended experience. Every bite was incredibly flavorful, and service was impeccable. Chef is very knowledgeable about the dishes he serves. Definitely make sure you have a filling lunch beforehand though.

I came in with some fairly high expectations based on the reviews I saw on OpenTable. Well - they were well earned but didn't convey how amazing this experience would be. From the Chef Song to our Alan, everything was perfect. If I were a Michelin reviewer, it would have hit two stars. What a remarkable combination of food, service and ambience. I was having such an amazing time I didn't mind being late for a concert later (my fault for not wanting to leave) - this was absolutely a top ten dinner experience.

Service was great , but food was not amazing. Two sets of nigiri and three dishes (miso, ceviche, and other one). Very expensive for What serves. Nothing more then ok. If you seat on the table the okakase will come from the Kitchen, not from de chef sushiman.

Very disappointed by our experience here, having tried the omakase before we thought the sushi experience would be just as good. The service was horribly slow, it took 25 minutes (after ordering) to get a refill of Sake, and we ordered 3 rolls and a sashimi that never came. Overall, our dinner took 2.5 hours and we never received our rolls or sashimi. To make it worse, a manger never spoke to us and an automatic 18% gratuity was included. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Sat at bar for omasake then one person moved me into other area only to be switched back. For the money and average service - it's just not worth it especially with so many other great options in SFO. Disappointed and luckily used OpenTable rewards points to lessen the blow.

I wanted to like this spot, but the service and ambiance really made the difference. The chef came out after being 30 minutes late. The servers did not pay attention to a lot of the customers. The noise level was very loud due to a table behind the sushi bar. However, the sushi and dishes were amazing. If you're looking for an intimate date night, this place may not be the one.
