I love this restaurant, their service is always good, the salmon and tuna are fresh. I like the special roll, it tastes pretty good. They are friendly to everyone. The environment is good, the flower, the light. Their restroom keeps clean. This restaurant is always busy on Friday, if you don't want to wait for a long time, you can make a reservation or join the waitlist in Yelp. My favorite food here is the ramen, it is the best.

This place is great! Amazing quality fish, great service and very reasonable prices! The salmon belly alone would bring me back but everything is amazing.

I feel like this place is good, not great (yet ;)) The decor and ambience are pretty nice. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was good. -double double roll: the seared hamachi on top had a great smoky flavor, and the sauce was good. Unfortunately, the filling in the center of the roll was tiny and tasteless. -chicken katsu curry: really good! It was the right amount of fried, and the meat was moist and tender. The curry was good too, lots of ingredients finely chopped within the sauce to jazz it up and add some complexity. -chicken karagee: it was only ok, too fried imo. I might give this place another try, esp for the katsu curries. Will probably skip the sushi and rice dishes next time. It's right across the street from where Fuji used to be, so it's a nice addition!

Really enjoyed our meal here tonight. We came for the soft opening, and were underwhelmed. But tonight the food was solid, service was solid, prices were fair. Nice ambiance too. Will definitely come back.

I've been coming to sushi sheng since they first open and was happy to support small business in WP. However, on our last visit the server had suggested fresh wasabi but didn't tell us it's an additional charge. It was $3 for a dollop. Plus the rolls are getting smaller and smaller like ridiculously small. Sadly we won't be returning.

I have visited this establishment a couple of times during the last few months Been quite happy with the quality of the sushi/sashimi. Popped in last week for a quick bite but WTF happened? Service was good as always but the servings are now smaller, I mean SMALL! Not only have the portions of fish shrunk, the prices have skyrocketed. Wont be back -- sorry Sushi Sheng.

3.5 stars. We came here for dinner and found the place full of diners and people on their iPad wait list. We were in and out in an hour but after being seated, it took them a long time to come take our order as there were only 2 servers for a full occupancy on a Wednesday night. It took a bit of time for the food to get to us and we had to ask for the miso soup as they forgot. Food was very small portions for the price point. Hubby said his Katsudon was bland. He orders this dish regularly at restaurants. My salmon teriyaki with mixed tempura was good but the salmon filet was really a small thin slice. Their tempura is very nice with a crispy light batter. The green salad was ok and I liked the dressing. My miso soup was salty and oddly, Hubby said his miso soup was bland too. We really liked the 5 pc each of sake and hamachi sashimi. The fish was tender and fresh. In return trip I'd stick with the tempura and sushi - sashim

Came here on Sunday, easy parking and plenty of tables around 6pm. However, people started coming in around 6:30 ish. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The interior was very nice, with booths on the left and tables on the right. Lovely cherry blossom flowers on the wall. We ordered a selection of food. Bento box was served on a plate and the kalbi was so so but the tempura and pork Katsu was good. The Chirashi was small in size and the assorted sushi was very good. The rolls were also a little small compared to other places we've been too. Overall, the sushi here is decent and the other items ordered were ok. Definitely a potential great neighborhood Japanese restaurant. I can see it has potential to do well. Service was great.

Cozy, intimate ambiance and friendly, attentive service. The sake toro and Romeo & Juliet roll were fresh and delicious, although the roll could’ve been tighter. The tonkatsu ramen was fine, but not our favorite – the chashu was nicely grilled and the egg was very good, but the noodles were a little bland and slightly overcooked.
