This bakery is a gem in our neighborhood! I love the pineapple bun, but most of all, the warmly small talks with the staffs!

It's an interesting mix of Chinese baked goods, western ones, and some in between. I had the sausage roll and it was pretty enjoyable, though I felt that the crust was almost too rich given that there was still a bunch of sausage adding richness and fat as well.

A friend recommended this place to me, and I really enjoyed their products. I picked up the Irish soda bread, and a chicken, curry chicken and vegetable pies. These pies are delicious warmed up in the microwave, and I was told they freeze very well. The dough is really tasty and delicious. The chicken in the pies was breast meat, but moist. I enjoyed taking to the woman who works there. Turns out she's a local, born and bread. Now that I had a full sampling of their Irish baked goods, I want to go back and sample their Chinese baked goods.

Found this new gem when I was in the area visiting a friend. Got some pastries for the kids and the family. They all enjoyed it. I can say they make the BEST wife cake in the bay!! It was so soft and moist in the inside and the crust is so crunchy and flaky. I have never had a wife cake this GOOD before. Jenny was so friendly and welcoming and greeted me right when we walked in. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

They open early, which is great when I was trying to get some breakfast for my grandma who gets up at 8am. They take cash and card. They have a variety of stuff, some Chinese buns, Irish pastries and French pastries. For me, it's an easy place to get some Chinese buns for my grandma. Also, they're not expensive either!

Truth be told, I walked past this place many times on my way next door to Andytown but never stopped inside. It's a small shop with limited seating--more of a grab and go kind of shop. I finally decided to try their bakery offerings and I got the breakfast biscuit sandwich and a blueberry scone, both were delicious. The sandwich was fairly large and the biscuit was soft. Both the scone and biscuit were soft and neither was overly dry and was crumbly like typical scones. I enjoyed their pineapple bun and egg tarts too. The pasties and sausage rolls are large and very filling. There are lots of baked offerings, British type as well as the standard Chinese pastries. You have your choice of cocktail buns, pineapple buns, wife cake, egg tarts, ham & egg sandwiches, scones, biscuit sandwiches, sausage rolls, pasties (not Cornish pasties, tho). I've returned on several occasions for more pastries. The egg tarts, pineapple bun, sausage roll, chicken curry pasty. My go to is the biscuit sandwich, either the ham and cheese or the bacon. I did not care for the sriracha katsu fried chicken biscuit. The service is attentive, however on my latest visit, there was no one at the counter and I had to walk part way past the counter to get anyone's attention--this was a first for me. I ordered a half and half, half HK milk tea and half coffee and was disappointed with the flavor. I'll stick to my coffee beverages from Andytown next door. If you're in the area, give it a go.
