This place was wildly busy on a Tuesday evening for dinner. We ordered numerous dishes (we had a party of 8). Some items came out sooner, while three other dishes took over 20+ mins. Like I said, it was busy, but not sure THAT busy. Overall the food was good. The salsas had the right amount of heat and then some, but rather tasty. The super burrito with carnitas was delicious. The enchiladas were okay, pretty dry despite the sauce. The beans were tasty and flavorful. The carne asada was a little dry, but decent flavor. The quesadilla wasn't bad; it was a quesadilla. The horchata tasted chalky though. Overall, not a bad spot to try something, depending on how many people are in line though and if you're around.

for been my first time there, the atmosphere was great, good service, good tacos but the meat could of at least been cut in strips, it was a whole piece......but overall not a bad place at all.

It is inherently against everything I stand for to pay this much for tacos. The guacamole was good, but overpriced. The tacos were ok. They had great cocktails as well. Definitely cant say that I will be back though because it was way too expensive for what it was.

Deducting a star because they've reduced portions but same price. What?! It was already expensive to start with. Limited gluten free lunch options in FiDi, so yeah.

Got the four taco special- I was expecting a lot more considering they were $5 tacos. Carnitas were dry and the fried avocado was just plain bad- in flavor and texture.

It's good for the most part, but not worth. The meats are juicy and tender, and the flavors complement each other with the salsa. My favorite is the habanero. But, I experienced slight heartbreak with the pricing of more than $5.50 per taco. Horchata is a bit underwhelming - the taste just isn't exactly there.

I've been a long time customer of Tacolicious and today I decided to try them out since it had been a while. Wow their portion got sooooooooooo small and also raised the price of one taco to $5.5. The food was also barely warm. When I feel like eating light, I used to just get one taco and it was fine. Today after 2 tacos I was still hungry, and angry! No wonder why there is a constant endless line for Lotiloti but it's nearly empty here.... the line speaks! NOT coming back, at least for a long long time!

I ordered the Beef, the Carintas, and the Chicken tacos. All in they cost $15, which when I first saw it seemed a little overpriced for 3 tacos. However, I had heard great things and went forward with my purchase regardless. Let's dig in shall we? First up: Carnitas. There's a sweetness to them that upon first bite I didn't expect. It's pleasant, but not overbearing. And when mixed with the avocado-habanero salsa on top, the heat and sweet blend together in a harmonious concoction that I feel resembles the experience of Jesus overturning the tables in the synagogue out of a mix of anger and love for His father. Overall: 5/5 Next up: Beef. I'm not sure if it's enchantment from the meat itself or the hint of red wine that I'm guessing was used to braise it, but I'm feeling a warmth from these flavors. The aftertaste of the heat is intense, but passionate. Like a bull in the arena of Seville fighting for its life. Overall: 4.75/5 And finally: the chicken. It may have been due to the prior two tacos shifting both my palate and expectations, but this was the most underwhelming of the tacos. It lacked excitement, appearing to me as a C student in a room of Valedictorians. If the beef and carnitas were Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg, the chicken was Tim Cook. In other words, high expectations, but under-performing results that lack innovation. Overall: 2.5/5 I'd consider the beef and carnitas specifically to be two of the best, if not the best tacos I've ever had. Where the chicken lacked, its brothers in corn picked up the extra yardage and ultimately won Tacolicious the Super Bowl. I can wholeheartedly say that my expectation for the world of flavor that can come from a taco has certainly been shifted, and I look forward to my next encounter with the simplistic, yet innovative eatery.

Just had their fish taco today. It was not good. The fish batter was extremely soggy falling off the fish. The mushy batter was splatter on the tortilla and part of it was very bitter from the beer I assume. The fish was under cook. I would not recommend this 5 dollar taco.

Normally $5 for a taco would seem expensive, until you realize you're at a Farmers' Market in San Francisco and the meat allotment is HUGE! On one hand I kinda prefer the balanced meat-to-tortilla ratio seen at Mission taquerias, but on the other hand who am I to complain about meat overload? Some of the taco flavors were innovative, so I appreciate that. However, the more traditional tacos didn't really impress me. So on average, guess it's A-OK (hence, the 3-stars). Lamb Picadillo: I'm a huge fan of lamb anything, so had to get these. It tasted somewhat like Cuban Picadillo. But the real magic was in the mint crema sauce on top, which was such a perfect pairing for lamb. Traditional Carnitas: Kinda bland. Not a hint of crispiness, like someone just took pork shoulder straight out of the slow cooker. Was decent when I added the chipotle sauce from the bottle. MF Chicken: A very bright orange looking sauce covering rotisserie chicken. Smoky seemed to be the most dominant flavor. It was decent, mostly because of the huge meat portion.

I stumbled across Tacolicious's farmer's market stand where they offered a limited menu. I had no wait at all, just while they prepared my food fresh. I ordered tacos (chicken chili verde and carnitas) and a horchata cold brew coffee. Absolutely phenomenal. I could have eaten those tacos for every single meal while we were in San Francisco! And everybody in my party liked the horchata cold brew enough to go order their own, even the non coffee drinkers! Absolutely fantastic!
