ordered to go today from this restaurant as i was craving Indian food. i got plain rice, chicken tiki masala, and one garlic naan for $21. it was pretty high-priced, but it's downtown. i got back to the office and found the naan to be very butter/greasy, but okay. the rice was plentiful for $3.25...but the chicken tiki masala was dry and the sauce had no spice. i noticed on their website they ask you to pick mild, medium spice, or extra spicy. they didn't ask me that question...read full review
I chose this restaurant at random because it was close to my hotel and I wanted Indian food. Since I didn't know the area this made sense. The walk to the restaurant was easy, but I passed many others which may have been a better choice. Tandoori Mahal was quite when I got there. Only one other table had diners. Given that there was no one else there service could have been better. The food was acceptable, but nothing to write home about. I will not return.

Just stopped in as a business owner staying at the Clancy hotel up the street and found this place open. They were amazingly open towards helping me with my food choices since I haven’t been always open to it. I wanted simple, not too spicy and they nailed it. I got a great simple chicken appetizer followed by an easy lamb dish with potatoes. Holy moly!
