I'm a very frugal person, and still dream about the "good old days" when boba drinks were much more affordable. However my partner's friend recommended that we gave Tea Hut a try while visiting SF. It was a good recommendation, because we ended up coming back twice over the weekend! My favorites were the Pink Lychee and the Mochi Soy Milk. Both had depth of flavor and tasted well balanced. I think I ordered them at 50% sweetness but can't recall. Will stop by again next time I'm in the city!

I love going here with my sister. This is our fave because of the unique options they’ve got. However it is a bit too expensive.

Tea Hut is known for its trendy mochi with soy drink (consists of black tea with soy milk and foam), which I ordered as dessert following dinner out in town. While I can see the appeal of having fresh mochi on top of a creamy cheese float drink, I'm not sure if it's that special of a trend. Any case, the mochi was soft, almost melt in your mouth, and the drink was quite good-- like a solid milk tea, but with a nuttier taste from the soy flavor. My partner had gotten another drink with Oreos that she found a bit too sweet, but overall, Tea Hut was a solid pick-me-up after dinner.

They seem to do special season drinks depending on what fruits are in season. I think it's a fun way to use local fruits and get creative on new drinks. Order from kiosk and then that call your name when it's ready. It's a very fast system. Drinks are on the pricey side tho. That def stops this place from becoming my go to spot.

The drinks here are pretty good. Usually it's hit or miss but the day I went, it was pretty good! The cup design is really cute too!

Lumpy unblended matcha in wasteful plastic cup and they ask for a tip on top of $8 for a drink which makes zero

Fermented rice drink with taro balls blew my mind. Not a big fan of ordering on a screen. Prefer social interaction, but if this is the trade off for a stunning boba experience. I'll take it.

Tea Hut Green milk tea has been one of my fav; however, I had a bad experience at this location last time: BAD SERVICE. A dark-skinned, middle-aged guy presented as rude and arrogant. I waited for about 30 minutes after I ordered and was confused cuz my friend who ordered after me got her drink a while ago. I went to check with the guy about my drink. Apparently, my order was missed/skipped, which could be the system's fault, I don't know. But I had to explain again and again why I was checking and show my text receipt more than once to prove that I already ordered and waited for more than 20 minutes. He seemed impatient and eventually printed out my order but didn't say anything to address the mistake, instead, just left me by the counter. Later, I asked whether it was possible to reduce one ingredient while adding a bit more of another. He semi-rolled his eyes and threw a harsh, abrupt "NO" onto my face. I said "okay" with embarrassment, and he said he could only reduce one ingredient but not add another more. The no is not the main problem, I understand that if that is the rule. What struck me the most was how he acted and communicated that. I didn't feel welcome at all and left Tea Hut in a bad mood. It affected my impression of Tea Hut and I probably won't go back to that location again.

Was hanging out at Chrissy Field for the day and wanted something sweet and warm to sip on the drive home so we stopped by. We were greeted right away but we ordered on the screen and our order came out in less than five minutes! I ordered the Hot Ginger Milk Tea and I loved it! Not a super fan of ginger but the milk tea mix was delicious and warming in the cold weather! My partner ordered the Osmanthus Rice Milk Tea and didn't like it because the toppings had a sour taste so that wasn't his cup of tea. The other menu items also looked good and their hot cup is so cute with removable hole cover for safety carrying! No seats so pick-up and go!

Came here to try the persimmon drink but sadly they were out of it so I settled for some lychee drink, which was amazing! I'm never really the type of person to keep going back to the same Boba place because I like to try new spots but I can say I will definitely be back here to try other flavors! One downfall is the spam musubi there was no flavor spam on it was super thin. I felt like I was just paying money for a rice rectangle

5 STARS FOR THE BEST FRUITY DRINKS IN SAN FRANCISCO!! I give this place too much of my money cause it's that's good! I love their seasonal drinks , they make it's super fresh and I taste fruit bits in each of my drinks. The grape drink was my favorite as well as their seasonal orange persimmon drink was really really good!!! Drinks are pretty expensive, but the portion is huge !! If you love fruity drinks , go here !
