BEST DELI EVERRR! Can't beat their sandwiches!! Great selection of grab & go drinks and snacks! The staff are very nice and efficient!

Absolutely fantastic sandwiches! Huge selection of breads, meats, cheeses etc and they have a vegan salami which is delicious! Plus they offer a vegan mayo for no additional charge. It can be a little overwhelming, just take your time - the board tells you everything. If you go at lunch on a weekday expect a line but the workers are super nice and fast. And of course there's not anywhere to sit inside - this is a deli! Just take your sandwich and be happy Highly recommend if you're in the area.

You would never expect good sandwiches and service from a deli inside a liquor store but the sandwiches and service is awesome here. I will recommend this place if your short on time and want a great sandwich and a affordable price.

For a bodega sandwich, Ted's is killer in a pinch. If you'd have asked me to write a review 5 years ago it would for certainly be 5 stars. The change in ownership has impacted the quality of the food. The chicken tortilla soup and pozole are still divine. The sandwiches however have become mid tier considering the mad house lunch rush line you will wait in. There's not much food options nearby, so you take what you can get.

The guy behind the counter, I’m guessing the owner is pretty nice, always polite and welcoming when I come in. First sandwich I tried was the po” boy sandwich…wasn’t impressed. I didn’t order another one until I went in there one day to buy a drink, guy asks me if I’m getting a sandwich and I tell him honestly I didn’t like the sandwich. He recommends the Tri Tip sandwich, I say ok I’ll try your sandwiches one more time. Tried it, nothing special. So, hard pass on the sandwiches and everything is honestly so overpriced overpriced. The sandwich alone is about 17 bucks. I’ll just go get me a banh mi sandwich a few blocks down for under 10 bucks thank you. ?

Frequented this market back in the 80"s when Ted ran the market. The food and service are as good as I remembered. I did miss the black bean soup that they were famous for.

One of the best sandwich spots in the city, they open as early as 7am and their sandwiches never MISS! Service is great the ladies behind the counter always have a smile and have great attitudes when you order your sandwich. I always get the Italian combo or the pastrami sandwich and it’s always bomb.Pro tip: ask to get your sandwich toasted!

If you are in the outer downtown/lower mission/ south of Market/south Van Ness area and you want a good sandwich then look no further. Ted's is your goto spot. This store has a wide selection of breads, cheeses, meats and toppings with all the healthy add-ons. Ted's features a good selection of beverages to keep you hydrated and help you wash the sandwiches down. Yes I'll go here again! The owner of the store "Mo" and is a really cool-headed down to earth friendly guy and I believe fluent in 3 or 4 languages, so extra cool. The staff there are pretty friendly as well. The deli does close early at around 430pm some days and 5 the others. Be sure to go in early because they're known to have a VERY long line for their food. Yes its THAT GOOD. Pro tip to beat the lunch rush is to call in your order so you just have to drop by and pick it up. If you're in the area make this a must stop.!Vegetarian options: There are alot of various salads to get and that are pre-made. Alot of vegie options are available.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps at the entrance, door is always open when the store is open. The lanes down the isles are able to accommodate manual and motorized chairs as well.
