This place is amazing. Total hidden gem. The sushi is delicious - maybe some of the best Hamachi Toro I’ve had in SF. The servers are so friendly, the vibe is comfortable and laid back. The ramen is also good. Garlic edamame is a must.

Always good service. Udon and Ramen are excellent, as is the seaweed salad, sushi, and sashimi.

Tekka House is one of my favorite sushi spots in SF. It's unassuming and fantastic. The staff are always so sweet, and their quality is top notch every time. Support small business and stop in anytime you're near Glen Park!

Delightful neighborhood restaurant, especially for sushi! We walked in on a Friday night and didn't have to wait for a table. Our server was very polite and and offered great suggestions. We loved the agedashi tofu, but the sushi was exceptional. We mostly ordered nigiri with a yellowtail roll and a spicy specialty roll, but all of the fish was just fantastic and very fresh. The server explained the chefs follow a more specialized slow-preparation method for sushi and we definitely tasted the difference.

Great place to have in the neighborhood, with a wide variety of options on the menu. Sushi/sashimi, udon and ramen, and cooked dishes like teriyaki chicken. Something for everyone.Vegetarian options: Good variety of vegetarian options, clearly marked on menuKid-friendliness: We are always coming here with our kids and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is very casual.

If you haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for? I love all the dishes that are prepared by Chef Drew and his team. When I'm there, I will always get my sake in the big carafe to make sure it stays cold. Their fish selection is always fresh and a wide variety. Always ask what is their special fish that night! The ambiance is very friendly and cozy. A must try sushi spot!

Is this place really worth the price? $16 for a salad? $15+ for 2 pieces of Nigiri? No vegetarian options? I wont even try it.

Living large with out of town guests, we had a feast of Japanese delights. Nice setting and location. Staff are attentive and fast. Not too expensive, and the quality far exceeds the price.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp built in to the entrance. Easy access for wheelchair users.

There was only one party here when we arrived at 6PM on a Sunday and they had just finished so we had the place all to ourselves. I love the design-Japanese modern. There is metered street parking available, but you don't have to pay on Sundays. We looked at the menu via the QR code and were not prompted to create a profile. You can order online, but our waiter actually took our order which we appreciated. He was very nice and welcoming from the moment we stepped foot inside. I started off with the Ahi Tuna Poke which came with wonton chips. The chips were slightly too oily, and there weren't enough. I finished the chips with about 3 spoonfuls of poke left. The texture of the poke pairs so well with the chips though and the sauce is very flavorful. (A bit too salty once you get to the bottom)The dragon roll had great quality. I didn't need to dip it into shoyu as the sauce was enough. The best part of this was the ginger. I was amazed at how fresh and crunchy it was. No wonder it's offered as its own side dish on the menu! The shoyu ramen comes with thinner noodles than traditional ramen, but they were perfectly cooked. This was my favorite dish.
