Great happy hour bites. The hot wings are a spicy dry rub that's well complimented by their dipping sauces. The fries are crispy and the beer ice cold. Will come back to try more, to be continued...

My food was very feathery today and not very appetizing when I saw so much fluff on my chicken wing.

The classic sando is terrific! Really delicious! The place was busy but they still got my order out quickly, hot and fresh! A no-frills place, but a really good chicken sandwich. $20 with fries and a drink? Have you tried McDonald's lately? I'd rather have the Bird any day, and things are more expensive in the city anyway. If I lived in the neighborhood I would frequent this place. Go check it out!

My spicy chicken "Sando" PROBABLY tasted amazing. I wouldn't know because my tongue got annihilated by the nuclear amount of spice on my chicken (refer to picture--the brown color on the chicken is all chili powder). I don't know if this was an assassination attempt or if it's usually this spicy. Despite me losing my ability to taste, I could still tell by texture this was a well made sandwich. The chicken is juicy and the apple coleslaw is bright. Probably recommend the regular chicken sandwich unless you like food SPICY--like sweating snotty drooling spicy. If you walk to the back there's another room with board games you can play.

We were walking through Hayes Valley in search of a great sandwich and just happened upon this place. The vibe looked fun and the food good so we gave it a go and have now been back quite a few times. Staff is always nice and helpful and the grilled chicken on ciabatta is a delightful surprise of a delicious sandwich.

Really dont get the hype and really didn't enjoy this spicy chicken sandwich. Tasted like raw spices and was heavy on paprika. The grease wasn't great either. I'm from the bay but lived in the south and this just reaffirms what I already know - San Francisco just doesnt do good fried chicken.

Fantastic chicken sandwich in SF. My go to meal is the chicken sandwich with extra pickles, buttermilk biscuit, and curly fires. I always take out but the inside is nice.

Had their seasonal balsamic and blue cheeseburger and it's to die for! Also tried their wings which were really good too. I ordered up front and then they brought my order over which made it super quick and easy. You also seat yourself so it's really lowkey and nice to just relax and chill.

Great place in the SF area to get your hot chicken sandwich! It's very tasty, and you can't go wrong with the curly fries as well. There's multiple locations in the city, and while it isn't the largest restaurant, there's plenty of seating if you're planning to just get a quick bite and go. You order at the counter, then pick up your food on your own, similar to how some fast food restaurants do. Highly recommend!

The Bird is a restaurant for the people. The food is delicious. It's pricy for what it is, but it's also in Hayes Valley. The ketchup wasn't your typical Heinz.

Every time I crave a crispy chicken sandwich, I make a point to come here and pick one up to take away. The chicken boasts a delightful crunchiness, yet remains tender, moist, and juicy. Additionally, the bun offers a delightful contrast, with its crispy exterior and soft interior.
