4.24.24 Dinner post pickleball session around 8pm - no wait. This spot reminds of your typical Korean bar, but serves more than your typically fried foods. I came to try their soup and seafood pancake. FOOD: They have your traditional Korean food - tofu soups, kalbitang, various pancakes, kalbijim, and they also offer kbbq. We opted for: - banchan: they offer a pretty good selection and the kimchi was fresh. - seafood pancake: we were pretty impressed with the size, taste and generous amount of seafood. I would say top 3 seafood pancakes I've had - and I've had my fair share of seafood pancakes - I ALWAYS order seafood pancakes at Korean restaurants :) - tofu soup mild: this was the perfect amount of spiciness and came with an raw egg as usual and a plus for including purple rice. - kalbitang: I always order this as it is my fav type of Korean soup. But their was okay. It didn't come with much glass noodles and did not come with egg strips or the wasabi soy sauce to dip the ribs. The flavor of the soup was pretty good overall. AMBIANCE: Neon signs and dark vibes so the late night bar scene. Not the biggest spot, I can imagine it can get pretty busy here during the weekend nights. SERVICE: Very friendly waiters! Verdit: I would return to try their other items.

Came here with my friends after they open and I kinda like the old "crew" more. The ambiance is nice but it's pretty dark inside after the sun goes down. It's also way more expensive than it used to be. The tofu stew is pretty god but I got the spiciest level and it was traumatizing lol. Not for the weak

The Crew is a culinary voyage to Korea's vibrant street food scene, tucked away in a cozy enclave. Despite its modest size, this gem packs a flavorful punch. From crispy chicken wings to savory rice cakes and sizzling BBQ meals, each dish is a tantalizing journey for the taste buds. And what's a Korean feast without soju? The Crew's selection adds an extra layer of authenticity and enjoyment to the experience. With every bite and sip, you'll feel like you've stumbled upon a delicious secret worth sharing.

I came around 6pm on a weekend, there was no wait but it quickly filled up afterwards. The place was cozy and is known for their honey makgeolli. Personally, I didn't like the sweetness but my friend did-- the drink gets waxy after some time and could be annoying. We ordered the galbi tang, wings, and tteokbokki. The broth of the galbi tang was hearty but the radish was too bitter in my opinion.

Very misleading pricing… they have “honeycomb makgeolli” for $10/bowl but it only comes with the honeycomb (?) the makgeolli is a separate purchase.1.5 hour wait, and the food was very mid Korean food. Service was negligent. Had to ask 3x for chopsticks and rice because the servers kept forgetting to bring them out or forgetting I had asked for them.Overall, the place just feels really overhyped by tiktok right now and overpriced for what it is.

Firstly, if you are going here, please be prepared to wait long. Because it's a small space. Nevertheless, the food here is delicious af! Firstly the place has an insanely delish honeycomb toddy drink (which I think is a must try). That u don't get anywhere else in bay area.We tried out the chicken wings which turned out to just ok (nothing amazing about it). But I got the crazy ramen (it's VERY VERY SPICY like they have mentioned) but was so good! We also got the seafood cheese pancake was another big hit with my 4 yr old. My husband approves their tonkatsu and fell in love. I just wish their service was a bit better. As in they are aware that they are too good therefore they don't really want to impress customers with their service it felt like. (this is just a feeling and I don't have a bad experience!)Tip: go when they open (literally when they actually open) you will get a table.4Help others with another

First time back after the remodeling and my group of 8 had a blast. The girls came for the honey makgeolli and loved it. Huge portions so don't order hungry. The atmosphere was felt like a sojubang in Seoul with lots of kpop and lively crowds all around. My favorite was the kalbi tang.

I absolutely loved this place. I ordered spicy pork bbq (perfection) and Grilled Mackerel. They have mastered the art of adding the right flavours to the fish that hit the spot. I also tried their Ginseng flavoured wine which just enhanced the whole experience altogether. Btw, the waitress recommended the drink and she was amazing! A must try.
