Sat at the bar, had two beers. Had a chat with a rando. Barmaid nice and friendly (and hanging which always makes me smile for some weird reason!) Nearly killed my self in the loos.Cash only. Good old fashioned type place.

Please don't order a Bombay Sapphire Martini, they'll make it for ya, but c'mon now, they're bikers. The bands are old school SF players, the scene is classic San Francisco. Responding to owner.I have never seen a bartender be so rude and condescending to some tourists before in my life. These were some japanese tourists and your bartender was belitting them about their english. It was so disgusting i wanted to pule.

Love dive bars, visited this one as it opened. Bartender not set up with proper ingredients, was not able to make common drinks as requested. He was a friendly and nice though. Would like to come back when live music.

What a treasure. We stumbled across this bar on our way to dinner. Live music at 6 pm on a Monday night! Great atmosphere, good affordable drinks, and a priceless historical but also neighborly vibe.
