Great alternative to the cafeteria at the UCSF hospital, and only a 4 minute walk away. Sometimes you want a sandwich, and they’ll make you one just how you want it. ??

Dependably awesome! Every time! Food is super fresh, family-run counter, everyone's really thoughtful even when they're backed up. I eat here at least twice a week now. The chicken salad is super clean. Try their house made herb dressing. :)

The Sandwich Shop The original location before their move to third street was a bit easier on the parking side for sure. Gotta park on the side streets to find parking, that is if you can even find parking. Walking in, seems a little bare to the bones but it's not some super high end sandwich spot with all the fancy machinery/materials. A little saddened they aren't selling the sweets/cookies any longer. Times hit hard these kinds of food spots.(COVID SUCKS!) I usually stick to the same thing when it comes to sandwiches. But on this particular day, the meatball sub was calling my name! Got the meatball sub on a sourdough roll with provolone. The bread was nicely toasted and crisp on the outside, inside warm and soft. Now let me tell you! These aren't some little bitty meatballs, they were decently sized and the flavor was on point! The sauce was great! Only thing is, I wish they added a little bit more to the sub. I know they don't add a lot to stop the sandwich from being too soggy, but today is just wasn't enough. Other than that, this place is pretty solid for subs! I also recommend the hotlink Sando, especially if you don't mind the heat!

Best sandwich and boba in the city. Good prices, friendly staff. Was my go to when I worked in the area.

If I'm paying 20$ for a sandwich it should be good right? Not here though. No napkins on the order to go, and not possible to use a restroom either. What a disappointment.

Great chicken salad sandwich! I was headed to the ball park and it is the closest place that isn't a rip-off. The store was immaculate and the staff was very friendly. It's my go-to place now.

Working at UCSF in mission bay this place is one of the best values for lunch and one of the better sandwich shops around. The service here is always warm and friendly and it's nice to support small local business. The sandwiches here for the price in San Francisco is a great deal. The sandwiches have a good amount of meat and the toppings/veggies are always fresh. Bread selection is good also, just be aware they do run out of certain items as the day goes on so get your orders in early. One of my favorite spots for a quick sandwich and lunch.

Their sandwiches are freaking delicious here and the service is one of a kind too. They have an amazing selection to pick from and their prices are very affordable too.

Came here for lunch last week as I happened to be in the area. A few people inside but was able to order quickly. Wasn't a super inviting space, no sit down area, and a little dark - more of a grab and go type of joint. I digress, not impactful to food quality just don't go looking to sit down for a sub. Went with the Salami sub on a Dutch Roll and was pleasantly surprised. Large sandwich, well garnished and a healthy serving of salami. The Dutch Crunch was a delicious choice - sweeter and a little crunchier consistency. Overall a really solid sub, if I lived in the area I'm sure I'd be here often.
