We came here two years in a row for corned beef and cabbage around March. I think it's a great treasure with lots of history and interesting array of customers. Definitely think a little renovation is called for but still worth the visit now and then. Quick and easy service if there is no line. For drinkers there is an assortment of beers from around the world displayed (though I haven't tried many).

Great spot for vibes, but terrible on pricing. Drinks are cheap, so that's cool. But you'll get a more flavorful and <10$ sandwich elsewhere. I asked the chef for the rec, which was a brisket sandwich. No customisation. Basically $20. It's is what it is. An establishment, yes.
