Tygers is closed. My heart breaks. I have to admit, I haven't been eating out for a long long time due to the pandemic, but wanted to get back to the swing of things and just noticed they closed permanently. Very sad. I used to eat there a couple times a week back in the day. Another old establishment closed.

I've been eating at tygers for almost 30 years! They have some of the best pancakes and warmest service. They always accommodate for any social changes and provide clean sanitary space. They have outdoor seating and to go options. Hoping they come back so they can continue their legacy of serving some of the best breakfast to the locals and beyond. Mom used to always get me hot links and French toast as a kid and it still is and always is soooo perfect xoxox

Tyger's has the very best corned beef hash anywhere, but only every other weekend. My friends from Menlo Park drive up just for the hash. My adult daughter says their buttermilk pancakes are excellent, and she won't order them anywhere else. I like the veggie omelet and their special pumpkin walnut pancakes. Also the pancake sandwich is good if you don't want a big breakfast. But the thing our entire family likes the most is the warmth of the people there, especially Susie. We've enjoyed breakfast at Tyger's regularly for over 25 years, and hope they will soon be able to reopen full time.

Sadly, it appears Tyger's has closed as of March 31, 2021. Great classic diner. It will be missed.

Tygers is a comfort food diner that's open for breakfast and lunch and has been a Glen Park staple for over 40 years.

Oh how I love having a classic diner in the neighborhood! The staff is very warm and has excellent customer service. I am really hope they find a way through the pandemic stresses. They offer to go options and we've picked up breakfast and eaten at the park a couple of times and also enjoyed some food on the sidewalk tables. Can't wait for it to be safe to have a stack of pancakes inside again!

I've lived within walking distance of this restaurant for 15 years and never go to it, so that tells you how I feel about it. They don't serve hashbrowns, they only have home fries and the home fries are always soggy and overly salty. They are in edible. So if you get breakfast here I highly recommend ordering french fries as your potato. The food is all lackluster and overpriced. They took out their soda fountain machine and started serving overpriced cans. I decided to give them another try a few months ago after years of not going there and was the most disappointed I have ever been. I ordered something that was called like "deluxe amazing French toast" or some extremely exaggerated title like that. It was a piece of stale raisin bread that didn't seem to have any French toast batter on it whatsoever it was hard and dry and flavorless and had a sprinkling of powdered sugar on it. That was it for like $13. The service is rude if you dine in, so I really don't have any clue why people go here aside from just that there aren't many other breakfast options in the immediate area.

I love this diner, which serves American breakfast and lunch standards with an occasional curveball, like red hots or linguica. They've always been kind and generous with kids as well as seniors.

Perfect day for an outdoor eating. French Toast and eggs scrambled with potatoes and sourdough toast. Don't forget to order coffee. What a incredible neighborhood.

Went there for breakfast this weekend. They are finally open after the forced closing due to the pandemic. I really appreciate this neighborhood gem. Simple and delicious. I had the Chenery scramble. Ingredients were fresh and cooked just right. I have been going there since I moved to the area in 1989. Go before the weekend lines reappear!
