Had a brunch here with friends on Saturday. It's a nice place, very spacious, with friendly staff all around. On the second floor, there was a private event that made it quite loud and echoed a lot, likely due to the building's structure. This seemed to be the case regardless of any events happening. The food was okay: the hot dog bun had too much bread, but the sausage was on the thin side. However, it tasted good. The chicken sandwich was delicious, but the onion rings didn't impress me because they weren't fully cooked. Personally, I like my onions well done.

This is by far my favorite place in all of San Francisco. Ungrafted has no misses. As a wine lover, the selection here is unparalleled with delicious varietals from all over the world. I also appreciate how many beers and nonalcoholic drinks they have. The food is outstanding, and the menu rotates every so often to offer more ways to delight and surprise the palate. However, the one staple I get every time I visit are the fries (sometimes, we'll order two!). Crispy, salty, with a refreshing dip - what more could you ask for?Last but certainly not least are the wonderful staff at Ungrafted. From the very first time we visited all the way up until now, they make you feel welcome and like they've known you forever. It's easy for people to feel intimidated going into a wine establishment not knowing anything about wine, but not here at Ungrafted - not only are they unpretentious, but they're also downright giddy to share their thoughts on wine with you, and to hear your thoughts on wine as well. I've had the pleasure of getting to know almost all the staff, who have now become friends.Coming to Ungrafted feels like coming home. Never change!

Fantastic spot with elegant food and a wine program that's as good as you will find anywhere. Not too fancy but not too casual atmosphere, great representation of the neighborhood it's in.

Food and service were wonderful! The pull apart bread is a must-have. We also couldn't get enough of the french fries. We had to order a second basket.

Upscale wine bar with a great selection of delicious small plates as well. OMG that za’atar bread - we had to order a second serving of it!Quiet and stylish without being pretentious - recommended as a place to calmly recharge away from the city outside.

Had a family dinner and we were all underwhelmed. Insane prices for very small okay meals. I appreciated that they had a vegetarian option but every plate was small and left something to be desired. Pork chops were overcooked and chewy. Steak ordered medium rare was basically bloody. Desserts were bland. Won't be coming back. Service was decent.

Insanely overpriced. Underwhelming food with tiny portions. Service was good until we decided to not stay for dinner (due to the menu having nothing we liked that day). Ordered each of the appetizers before we left, and we laughed at the teensy portions each time they arrived. One roll, 3 hushpuppies. ???Anyway, don't even waste your time, this place is a bonafide grift.

Quite high prices for a place that is essentially a wine bar with a kitchen hiding somewhere.Glass of wine is roughly $20, devils eggs run you $12 for an egg and a half.Unfortunately I can't imagine this place will last too long, especially with the slow service and dirty wine glasses on the counter aren't a great look either.

My brother was in town on a business trip, and I thought we'd try Ungrafted. The setting is industrial, yet welcoming. The staff is quite knowledgeable about their extensive offerings of wine and other 'adult beverages.'We had dinner there at the end of September, and I remember enjoying my meal. Unfortunately, it wasn't memorable enough for me to recall what I ate. While their drink list offers more than one can possibly evaluate, the food menu is limited. Neither my brother or I read the menu and said, "Oh, I want that." There are interesting, inventive options, but not many of them.

Insanely expensive. Nearly empty at brunch. Small portion sizes and their star dish disappointed.Husband found his chicken sandwich very average.2 stars for the flavorful onion rings, mushroom toast and hush puppies.I was most surprised by 17$ + tax for a few sips of a sake is just plain ridiculous!Very small menu with limited brunch options type options.

Had a hard time reviewing this place - if you come for the wine and vibes it’s a solid 4 stars but for just dinner it’s a bit lacking in taste and portion sizes. We got the pull-apart bread, gochujang mushrooms, and pork loin. All were pretty good but not super memorable and quite small.
