I reeeeeally like this place! I just had their salad Niçoise and it was delicious and reasonably priced (especially when you realize they don’t accept tips!) but most all, it’s a bright clean spot, a lovely family business, and with their own bakery and coffee roaster attached to the restaurant. EVERYTHING is fresh! It’s a great place to bring the laptop and get a little work done with their free WiFi. I wish them much long-lived prosperity!

Very tasty breakfast, especially the bowls (yogurt & oat meal) were excellent! The employees were also very nice.

Favorite coffee that I’ve found in the city - the espresso is amazing and iced lattes are the perfect consistency - treats are amazing as well

The staff here this morning was so welcoming - they greeted me as I walked in and the man who took my order complimented my sweater. It’s the little nice things that go a long way.

Very clean establishment and great quality food! I will be back :)

The barista was very rude and displayed quite an attitude.

The coffee is decent, but they don’t seem to know how to read order instructions.

There are a lot of other options for coffee on Polk St, I would just pick any of those over this place.

I’m happy to say that Up4Dayz is my corner coffee shop and second home. The coffee shop itself is bright, sunny, cheerful and welcoming. Perhaps that’s why there are so many regulars who know each other by name, hang out, chat, read, and work. There’s also always a friendly dog or two to pet.

The coffee and food are great! They roast and grind the beans themselves and make the pastries from scratch on-site. Get the blue berry scone! It’s the best I’ve had. They also have amazing salads and sandwiches for lunch. Checkout the menu!

This is truly a family owned and run business. There isn’t a day when Mira, Musa and/or Rowan aren’t behind the counter. They are just about the nicest and hardest working people you will ever meet. You’ll also see their parents baking pastries in the back. The family has been making coffee for decades. It’s in their blood.

I love this coffee shop, and you will too!

Funny tasting coffee and bizzare service. They asked me to take a slice of cake to go in a paper bag when clear they had proper to go boxes. The staff sneered about it saying they tell people to take cake to go in a paper bag all the time. Very corporate ambiance, I would advise other places on Polk with better service, code and ambiance over this one. Will not return anytime soon.
