First time I've been to a restaurant that's changed its name every year! Happy to see yelp had the most updated name for it. This place is cash only and hands down has had the best bang for its buck. We did family style and got four dishes for four for $18 dollars each. And the food was tasty, different, not drowning in MSG and healthy IMO. The lotus root was my pick. It's quiet and dark but if their door is open they are open, treat yourself to a deal.

My favorite cafe in Chinatown! The portions here are large and the lady that works here is so sweet. If you're looking for a quality, no frills Chinese cafe then look no further! We usually order the salt & pepper pork chop, honey walnut shrimp, and fried calamari. Everything comes out fast and fresh. They also include a free soup and it's quite tasty! Their drinks are all under $5 and we always get either the milk tea or watermelon juice. The watermelon juice is so delicious, it's basically blended real watermelon and it's super refreshing. The milk tea is a standard HK style milk tea and it really hits the spot. I highly recommend trying out V&J!

Food is tasty no doubt. We ordered togo takeout twice, tried to take advantage of their 3 items for $33, however both times our total ended up almost $50. They charge extra $2.50 for beef, $2.50 for xo sauce, $2.50 for green beans. Some are posted on menu but some of the extra fees are just added verbally. Not sure if that is acceptable for any restaurants to do.

Basic Cantonese restaurant with big menu and big portions. Similar to many other Cantonese restaurants in the area in taste and everything. I've had the 3 for $32 set menu of bitter melon and pig stomach, pork spareribs and black bean sauce, sweet and sour pork chops. Nothing stand out, just your basic Cantonese cooking you can find everywhere.

Went here after walking around Chinatown . Got the wonton fish ball soup. It was tasty - but service non existent. I was eating there and she bought me to go bag. No credit cards accepted. But other guests happily eating. This laowei felt ignored.

Terrible service. Went in to get some takeout and the front desk lady kept complaining how much money she’s losing on the order because I’m paying with card despite the extra 4% card charge. Isn’t the card charge supposed to cover the loss? She encouraged me to leave and find food somewhere else, which I did.

One of the best HK milk teas in the city paired with some bomb food at reasonable prices! The atmosphere will definitely not win any awards but what the atmosphere lacks is made up for in amazingly delicious food and milk tea at great prices, especially for San Francisco standards. For one milk tea and a huge plate of soft egg and beef rice, it cost under $15 after tax (before tip). Definitely a huge fan of their food

Me and my boyfriend come here once a week. This is the most delicious Chinese restaurant and super affordable. Sure you can get from the menu for a dinner set 3 items for $35 or 4 item for $40 included rice and soup of the day, let me tell you... that's cheap! But for us, we get rice plate and a single item for ruffly $10-$11 is already included with the soup special of the day. This restaurant is a hole on the wall and local mom and pop shop. One thing I can tell you, if you happened to be on Broadway between Stockton St and Columbus Ave and currently on the budget order the Rice plate and I guarantee you will be full and satisfied by the food. And lastly it taste delicious!

Amazing dishes. The chief made the meat tender and savory. High CP value dishes they offer.

Worst service ever. Went there with visitors from out of town and were the only people there. Took 90 min for our food to come. After we arrived, four other tables were seated. They all received food immediately. Ours came out piecemeal in 20 minite increments, rice being served last. Water took 90 minutes to arrive. Toilets were all broken.

Great food, super quiet, total hole in the wall which is just what I was looking for, the woman serving was super nice and remembered to refill our drinks. Definitely would come back
