Probably the best vegan burger of my life. Henry is an incredible person. Been trying to find a good vegan burger that is healthy and delicious, and not processed. The burger I had was the avi beet made with a shiitake mushroom based patty. It was out of this world. A crazy collaboration of flavors leaving me with a sense of euphoria. Good vegan munch on your day trip in Ashbury!!! Beautiful tribal/chant music as well. Cool atmosphere.

Having just arrived in San Francisco earlier today, without a substantial meal in over 24 hours, (thanks to Amtrak's horribly lacking/practically nonexistent vegan options on board their trains,) I was hoping to find an exceptional vegan establishment while waiting to be able to check into my room. In the meantime, I got on one of those hop-on/hop-off buses to get a lay of the land and see the highlights I might wish to see on my own later.Of course, just as we entered the heart of Haight/Ashbury (where I most assuredly would have ended up in, in 1967, had I only been born about 15 years earlier,) I saw "VeganBurg" from the bus an immediately knew where I was having lunch. No sooner did the bus pull over a couple of blocks later, than I "hopped off" and made my way back to what awaited me....A SLAMMIN' VEGAN LUNCH - VeganBurg knocked it out of the park - of course as hungry as I was, I ordered two (2) different burgers - the "Haight 'N' Salsa' and the "Cracked Mayo" along with a side of Creamy Garlic Fries their "Old School Lemonade." Both burgers were insanely delicious (and NO, not just because I was hungry - they were REALLY good, as were the fries, recommended to me by my server, "Henry." Completely satiated, satisfied and happy, I'll have to spend the rest of the afternoon walking off the calories, but I don't mind!Pros: Service, Food, AtmosphereCons: Lemonade was a bit too sweet for my tastebuds.

Great vegan burger joint right near Haight-Ashbury intersection. Lots of options to choose from! I also enjoyed the vegan chocolate shake.

Good burger but slightly overpriced. I paid $25 for a burger and broccoli with a drink. Cool place though but can’t go back often with those prices.Vegetarian options: Well the entire place is vegan so that’s a plus.

I'm not vegan but one of my traveling partners is and we had a great experience eating here. Good selection of everything vegan. Would recommend if your vegan or not.

Eat a cheesecake here. $5.99 plus tax for a small piece of cheesecake. Taste no different from the one I bought from Safeway or Whole Foods. Nice and clean environment although.Order is from one of the pads from the entrance. Once you paid, take the receipt and show the number to the window nearby the end of the restaurant.Seems they have only one restroom so you will have to wait if someone has taken.

Absolutely wonderful to find this fast food outlet where you can take-away or eat in. Henry who greeted us was completely knowledgeable about vegan vegetarian and gluten free food. We enjoyed our meal so much we went back a second time. It had been really difficult to get gluten free vegetarian food in most places we asked in. It was a great experience to find a place that understood our requirements as one of us has coeliac disease so must avoid gluten. The food was well cooked and tasty. Especially the broccoli ?? the atmosphere was lovely too

Hawaiian teriyaki and Haight ‚n‘ salsa burger with seaweed fries and especially the ketchup was so so good. The old school lemonade and the gold peak iced tea was also great. We payed $38 and every dollar is worth it.

It was very hard to choose as everything looked amazing on their menu. I got the smothered mushroom burger and added cheese and bacon. It was so yummy and really fresh. I will definitely be back for their carne asada fries and cheesecake!

Veganburg has creative flavors and unique options for their burgers. I really enjoyed the Hawaiian Teriyaki burger. Staff is very kind and accommodating, you'll always leave feeling satisfied. Updated from previous review on 2020-09-26

It's a self checkout at the front of the restaurant so you order and pay without talking to anyone (which is super speedy). Loved all the options here, we got a BBQ burger, the cracked mayo in a lettuce wrap and carne fries. Both burgers were great and delicious, loaded with toppings and flavourful. The BBQ burger is a little sloppy fyi. I typically don't like loaded fries cause they get all soggy and overly moist but the carne fries were fantastic. Just the right amount of spice, cheese sauce and jalapeños!

Perfect vegan lunch spot just a few doors down from the corner of Haight Ashbury. All burgers, all vegan, and all very good!. Many burgers to choose from. Our meat-eating son-in-law loved it, too. Casual atmosphere.

The vibe of the place & the burgers & the soft serve ice cream were all amazing.
