Very happy to that this place is still around. Used to come here every week back in the 90'es. Still my go-to place when in this part of the city and the stomach is craving a sandwich.

solid sub sandwich place; not cheap, meat selection is limited. Independent legacy business (33 years per owner). Great Italian sesame bread; meatball sub is A+

We ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was very good! I thought the price was high, 14, but we ate 2 and were satisfied to start the day.

Don’t overlook this little sandwich shop. I read reviews and decided it sounded good. It was charming. Loved the little place. The sandwich was amazing and huge. I had a turkey sandwich with everything on it and toasted. I wish I could share the flavor - but just YUM! While we were there a guy came in and said he had come to San Francisco on business and had traveled across town to come get a sandwich. He said he used to come to the shop on his way home from high school many years ago. It was so good he just had to come back and get a sandwich.

Since moving to Canada I miss nothing more than the Vikings sandwiches. They’ve been a staple in my comfort food for the last 20

I had just arrived in USA for the first time and checked in to a place across the road. I just went to the first sandwich shop I could see as I was starving and was amazed at how good the sandwich was. When I walked in I thought damn this isn't gona be good for some reason. I was mistaken it was so good you won't be disappointed.

First time I ate here was in 1997. Every subsequent trip I have made to San Fran over the years, I have made it a point to eat here. Amazing place and great people run it.

Hole in the wall spot. Seems like they have been making the same sandwiches for years and it's only right as they are delicious and consistent. Highly recommend for a quick rest stop.

I get a statement from this place up I get a statement for them at least once a week. It is a great lunch place. Their large sandwich is great for a lunch in a snack later. I recommend everybody go there edge really is really good food. Not gourmet but you won't be mad about it.Kid-friendliness: An older Asian couple run it, its a mom and pop type store,, and it's super cute very homey. The sandwiches are my fav in the entire city actually.

I have no words to describe the love I have for the viking sandwiches! I've been going here with my family for years and it never disappoints!! My family and I always gets the viking sandwich and always order extra to take home. I'm not sure what they put in their secret sauce but it's deliciously made to perfection. I'm huge on sandwiches and I would say this is definitely my top 3 favorite places to get a great sandwich!! It's such a small hole in the wall but don't sleep on Viking's Giant Submarines!!!

Their Viking sub is elite and competes with the best sandwich places in the area. Recommend trying.
