Excellent restaurant. Chicken tikka massala, pesto cheese, chicken butter... even the rice is well mastered and the naans are very good. Recommended. The price is acceptable. For 4 people got it for $90

Everything I had at this restaurant was absolutely mind-blowing. My visit was spontaneous, and I brought in a friend who has never had Indian food prior. We ordered several breads, rice, tandoori prawns, dal makghi and chicken tikka masala, and every single dish delivered punches of flavours and textures, with great balance in acidity and heat. Friendly staff was the cherry on top.

I lucked into this casual, affordable gem by chance, and will absolutely be back next time I’m in the area. Delicious chai, varied menu. I went vegetarian and had a satisfying dish of paneer and veggies in rich coconut sauce. The basmati rice was tender and flavorful. But it was the onion naan stole the show- 3 kinds of onion, each prepared to highlight its qualities and kneaded into a flatbread that was flash baked in the tandoori. Portions were plentiful and made a for a great lunch the next day.

We enjoyed the Curry dishes and Naan bread. Two stars were just right for us for the spice level. We didn't try the Tandoori, but it looked good at another table. It was a little cramped in space especially for tall people, but what restaurant isn't. Our motel was only a couple blocks away and felt safe to walk in the area. The couple that joined us lived on the other side of Golden Gate Park and took the bus. Though traffic and parking wasn't too bad for a Friday night at the time we had dinner.

Viva Goa Indian Restaurant is an upscale Indian restaurant located in a leafy suburb of San Francisco . It’s an aristocratic style place adorned with a beautiful bar and an expansive list of wines to choose from. The decor and atmosphere is pleasant. Plenty of seating with a beautiful touch of romantic lights is a plus. Food is amazingly delicious but somehow totally Americanized to satisfy their clientele taste buds. Overall staff is courteous very knowledgeable and can’t be miss out the Owens very much friendly.A good place to entertain your guest and indulge in delicate food and a pleasant atmosphere.
