Love the ice cream here and the service is always great. The only downside is there aren't a lot of seats outside and parking can be tough. Despite those small inconveniences, this place still deserves 5 stars.

The folks running this place are so kind!! And the ice cream is super tasty - we got the saffron ginger and the flavor was delicious and had great consistency :) Highly recommend!!

Had a scoop of saffron ginger, and while the taste of ginger came out really well the ice cream was so overly sweet I could barely finish the small scoop

Simple place for ice cream. Benches outside for you to sit and enjoy the ice cream and even a kids bench.It's a pity that the windows have been graffitied over and they still haven't gotten around to fixing it, so the store front doesn't look very nice or clean.

The ice cream here has the perfect texture and the flavors overall are just ridiculously amazing. Saffron-Ginger ice cream (which I have never had anywhere apart from this place) is so well done that you'd keep wanting to go back to this place for that.

No photo for this review as the ice cream was too delicious, no time for photos, I simply had to dive in. Strongly recommend the Saffron, Saff/Ginger and Huckleberry are delightful as well. It's rare to find ice cream so incredibly delicious and so texturally exquisite. Will certainly be back.

The warmer months are finally here in SF. What better way to celebrate than with a nice treat at Xanath Ice Cream. The ice cream here is made with organic ingredients. They even have vegan frozen yogurt which maybe I will try next time. I do wish there were more vegan options yet went with the Mango Sorbet which was the only vegan option besides the frozen yogurt they had. I am a big fan of mangoes as mangoes are probably my favorite fruit. The Mango Sorbet hit the spot. Add at least another vegan flavor is my suggestion. Nice spot in the Mission worth checking out to celebrate these warm days.

One Sunday my friend and I thought we would support Xanath just because the line across the street at the new ice cream place was so long. We hadn't planned to have any. They sell it by the ounce. We each bought the 4 oz cup. When she handed me the cup, I said "don't you weigh this?" She said "no" it is marked with lines in the container," I asked if she would weigh mine and she said they didn't have a scale. Now, I wouldn't have been so attentive to this except I weigh almost all my food into 4 oz portions and I know what 4 oz should feel like. So I walk home, 2 blocks, and the pictures show the weight. No wonder they didn't have anyone in their shop. Believe me, she was so obviously annoyed that I doubted her.
