Sibling restaurant to Yummy Yummy on Irving, this is one of my favorite Pho restaurants in the city. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. The food is very authentic and delicious. I love the bun bo hue with my other go-to dishes including, Five Spice Chicken, Banh Cuon, Pho Dac Biet, Spring Rolls, Cha Gio, and their Vietnamese Coffee. The interior is small, clean, and intimate with about 10 or so tables, & the staff is both friendly and attentive serving food quickly and efficiently making this place a good spot to bring the family for a yummy, filling & affordable meal.Overall, I would recommend Y&Y Vietnamese Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable Vietnamese meal on Clement Street in the Richmond District.

Returned to this place after not going here for over a year. Had the "Chicken Banh Mi." The chicken was that cheap rotisserie chicken that's on sale for $5 at Safeway (WT F!!). Then a part of my tooth cracked when I bite on it. Apparently they left little pieces of bones in the meat!! No wonder they have much fewer customers now. Place has become trash.

Excellent Vietnamese food and definitely the best I've found in SF at this price range and the portion sizes are excellent as well. So great and delicious!

Best ever Bun Bo Hue !!And rare place to find Banh Cuan in the Bay. This place located in the Inner Richmond neighborhood. Many varieties of noodle soups and most of them are amazing. Shrimp cake with taro is delicious and the egg rolls are great. Good service and quick serve meals.Definitely be back!!

It was a cold night and this was the only place open late in the area. Pleasantly surprised as the noodle soup was SO fresh, hot and delicious!! Great spot for a light low priced meal with generous portions and the staff was nice. Glad to have randomly stumbled upon this joint.Vegetarian options: Got the veggie option - ask and they can make it for you!

Loved this place! A large variety of dishes sometimes makes me skeptical because it may be hard to specialize. We ordered the pho dac biet (#25), the vermicelli grilled pork with imperial rolls (#45) and the red roast pork banh mi (#10) and everything was delicious. It was definitely the best pho i've had in the city and the two bowls were great portions, the banh mi was good but not sure if its worth the price given the portion, but I wouldn't be against getting it again. The service was great! They were friendly and attentive and the restaurant itself is small but we didn't experience a wait or see people waiting for a table. Definitely try this spot out!

Very good quality, consistent, quick, pleasant, reasonably priced. My only complaint is they're not open every day!

Mixed experience here. While they do have a good variety of items, I found that the pricing was a bit high for what you get an that the quality between different dishes was not consistent. The skewers are probably the best thing here, though maybe the cuts of meat could be a bit more fatty and not sliced quite so thin. Otherwise I enjoyed the marination and charcoal sear. The seafood pancake was a bit devoid of flavor, very dependent on the fish sauce and wasn't really crispy. The Bún Thịt Nướng had fairly flavorful pork in it, though I wasn't a giant fan of the spring rolls. The vietnamese spring rolls looked nice and did match well with the dipping sauce. The banh mi was alright though I found the bread to be slightly tough.Overall, a solid option but some options are prepared better than others and the price is a little higher than what I'd expect for the quality.

This place is a busy-bee! However, once you place an order, the dishes comes out quick. Their specialty here are their soups and my beef pho was delicious. I also love their deep fried Vietnamese egg rolls. Just a heads up, they're only open 3 days a week from Thursday to Saturday. They are closed all other days. It was also nice to know you can pay via credit card which many Vietnamese restaurant are cash paying only. All in all, we had a nice time here. Cheers!
