The $158 tasting menu is soooooo worth it, even just solely in the ingredients that were used. The chef literally took a whole truffle and shaved it onto our fried rice. This was a first Kappo experience, and we really enjoyed how balanced it was. There was a mix of sashimi and cooked foods. We went for my birthday dinner and I have been spreading the word about Yuji nonstop when anyone asks about omakase experiences. I believe chef Yuji has set a great standard of reasonably priced omakase in a cozy setting with expertly prepared foods. The restaurant exterior is not the most glamorous, but don't let that deter you from a great experience.
