By their own standards, this place is doing a good job. I found it a little overbearing, but I'll admit, part of what comforts me about Vietnamese restaurants is being left alone. I was not. I was even given instructions about how to order next time! One person working there seemed concerned I ate only half my bun bo hue, but I truly ate all I could and then some, it was just a lot for me. I think $20 is a lot for pho, but I was fine with that, as I was expecting it. I do wish the bun bo hue came with a pork hock, but the broth and the beef were so refined, that is not a complaint. More pork blood would be nice... but, I think they have perfected what it is that they do, which is all I ever want, personally.Would go back. They seem to foster loyalty; I can see why. They're very welcoming, and the food is comforting, as someone who grew up on SFV phoGot bun bo hue because it looked like everyone else did. Was happy with that choice. All the food looked pretty good.

Man the beef pho here I can legitimately say is the best pho I have ever had. The 5 spice chicken is similarly extremely good. The broth is filled with so much condensed flavor it’s hard to describe. Service wise my experience was just average, but granted they are typically very busy I wouldn’t hold it against them. Def give them a shot!

Oh my god!! Yummy yummy is soooo good!!!Bun bo hue and pho were 10/10.Broths were rich and flavorful, noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy, and there were plenty of toppings!! I went on a backpacking trip from Vietnam and was looking for good bun bo hue--something that could compare to the ones I had in Vietnam-- ever since coming back. I'm from LA, so there are only a couple of spots that sell bun bo hue.. but they're not the same. Yummy yummy had bun bo hue that hit the spot. Service was amazing. I'm not sure if they were having a particularly great day or what, but they were so happy and helpful. Ambiance is very family style. Cozy and comfortable. Walked in here by chance and 1000% glad I did.

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in SF…the owner is super friendly. There are 6-7 vegetarian dishes here so it’s a place that many of my vegetarian friends can come eat.

Yummy Yummy Vietnamese Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem that serves up some of the most flavorful Vietnamese cuisine I've had the pleasure of tasting. The standout dish, the steak pho, was exceptional. It was so delicious that I found myself wishing for a second bowl. The broth was rich and aromatic, perfectly complementing the tender slices of steak. The owner's warmth and friendliness add to the restaurant's charm, making you feel like you're dining in a friend's home rather than a commercial establishment. This sense of hospitality is further enhanced by the lively and welcoming environment.Cleanliness and coziness are also hallmarks of Yummy Yummy. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere makes it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Whether you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It's a place where the food, service, and ambience come together to create a truly enjoyable dining experience.

The quality of meat and ingredients here is great. I go for the combo with meat on the side and the meat is generous and good. During the afternoons only there is a fresh noodle option - a slightly wide Hanoi-style noodle that is good.Staff also attentive and service is fast. Vibe is your local neighborhood pho joint.

There is nothing better than warm pho and hot tea on a chilly rainy day in San Francisco. Yummy Yummy Vietnamese Restaurant delivered the best experience and most delicious Vietnamese food I've ever had. The moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by a smiling host who immediately seated us, offered us hot herbal tea, and set before us large menus. We ordered beef pho and 5 spice chicken with noodles. Both meals were delivered quickly and were extremely delicious. The tea was hot with a mild flavor that immediately warmed us through. The kind and friendly service continued throughout our meal. The total cost of our lunch was less than $40, and we had more than enough food to fill us up.I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough!
