Me and my friends ordered Boba tea from zero&. They have an amazing selection of items that you can customise based on your own preferences. I love the coconut, mango tea and the ube taro tea, so flavourful and pretty inexpensive. Their service was very quick and I didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes before I got my

Today (Feb 08, 2024), I ordered the drinks at your store located at 437 Hayes St, San Francisco, CA 94102) with 3 separate orders #3390, #3393, #3394. When I pick up those drinks and bring them home to enjoy it, I'm surprised why they can forgot to add PinkBoba on Matcha Tornado (order #3390), and add Crystal Boba on Matcha Tornado (order #3393 and #3394) while I already paid extra money to add those boba for those drinks. Why can they forget to put it for a total of 3 drinks? I can't believe this could happen to me and please reconsider your employee. If they forgot 1 drink, I can accept it. However, they forgot to add boba for 3 drinks, it's unbelievable.

Drink was perfect. Ordering with the kiosk was fast. Service was as fast as the workers could be. 2 stars is for managers poorly staffing the shift. There was a back up of about 20 orders with only 2 people in the kitchen during a particularly bad rush. Staff was stressed and running around trying to fulfill orders from the kiosk and online. Multiple times they had to stop and explain to frustrated doordash drivers that they had to make everyone's drink in the order they came in. Management at this location is disappointing and I feel bad for the staff. I got the Passion Lemonade w cane sugar (less sweet), and I can taste that they really used lemon and passion fruit in this. Good portion for the drink too. The cap came with an adjustable opening so the straw could fit any way we wanted. Hot drinks also come with a similar cap - can definitely appreciate the smart packaging. Even though the place was understaffed, my drink came out in a reasonable amount of time.Management really needs to do better at this location. There's so much potential for this Zero& that's unrecognized.

Probably the worst ZERO& in the city. Please order with no sugar if you get anything. They’re very heavy handed w/ sugar when it comes to it. The only drink I recommend is the coconut one.

I’ve been here 3 times and each time the drinks are just not that good, Too sweet even though I ordered less sweet, and the ice is never enough.

Tried the lychee hanabi box, didn’t enjoy it much. The flavours felt artificial!

The shop was small, and my group sat outside in the park. I loved my passion fruit boba however the guava drink my friend order was horribly sweet- almost undrinkable. I gave a low service score since we used their ordering machines. The drink is on the pricier luxury boba side, but the location is Hayes Street so I think it’s reasonable.Vegetarian options: There aren’t any animals in the boba, but milk drinks obviously isn’t vegan.

Tried the Lychee Love with real lychee and crystal boba. Loved the fresh lychee flavor, not too sweet. The crystal boba added a nice touch. Quick service, friendly staff.

I've been seeing a lot of Zero& locations pop up in the city and wanted to check it out. They sell fruit teas, milk teas, and some other pastries (hanabi cakes, croissants, breads). There's a self serve kiosk and you're able to adjust your preferences (sweetness, ice level, toppings, etc.). There's no seating inside the boba shop, but there is a little nook to wait or you can wait outside. We ordered the:*lychee lover (new): the drink says it contains half a pound of real lychee. It tastes like lychee juice without being too syrupy or sweet. I got it at less sweet which was the default preference. The drink came with crystal boba which I thought added a nice chew factor*grapefruit SPA: this drink supposedly contains one whole grapefruit. It was pretty accurate to grapefruit juice and didn't taste too sweet; it was a little bitter either due to the lemon or the grapefruit pulpThe drinks came out pretty fast and there wasn't too long of a wait around dinner time. It's not your typical boba shop with artificial powder, but if you're in the mood for something refreshing and natural, this is the place I would go. Definitely worth a try!

Zero& is an intimate small chain in Hayes Valley specializes in fresh fruit drinks w/accompanying boba, jellies. It's a small clean, brightly lit place where you can order at the counter but most people seemed to use the two standalone kiosks. Okay. Ordered via contact less kiosk:GRAPEFRUIT SPA, (24oz) One Whole Grapefruit; Fresh Grapefruit Juice; Jasmine Green Tea. Have never seen grapefruit juice offered but I love grapefruit so here I go. Nice, tall, tangy and refreshing with the fresh juice w/pulp, thin slices of grapefruit, and boba. Great thirst-quencher! There is for an additional charge for more boba. Go for it!

I ordered the Pink Guava Oasis with matcha boba and it was really good. First time here but I’ll definitely go back.

So, my experience here has been very iffy, and I think overall I wouldn’t recommend it because of the inconsistent quality and poor serviceI started going when they first opened, and really love that they offer a variety of drinks I’ve never seen at other placesOne of my favorite drinks here has been the iced noir sesame latte, and I’ve never had anything like it. If I could get it consistently good, I would highly recommend this placeHowever, every time I go, there’s always something wrongThe first time I had an issue, they had filled my drink with these huge chunks of hardened boba that took up over half the volume of the cup. I didn’t know until I got home, so obviously I threw it out. When I went back they didn’t offer a refund or replacement even after showing the photos, which was very frustrating. They just kind of downplayed it, admitted it was probably an issue with their boba sitting too long, and said it’s good now. I attached a photo, it was pretty obviously an issue on their end, but whateverAnother time, I’d gone in unknowingly a few minutes before close around 7:55 and ordered. I didn’t realize the time, and they didn’t prevent me from ordering. At 8pm sharp they put the closed sign up and started tearing down the kitchen, and throwing things away. At about 8:10pm they came up to me and said “oh yeah we’re out of boba, and sesame cream… you still want that drink?” They had just thrown it out. Which, fine, I get it, you’re a food service worker and you don’t get paid enough to care. I opted for the refund. My girlfriend said she still wanted hers even with only half the ingredients, it took them until about 8:20 to make the drink. I would have rather they told us they didn’t want to make it than make us wait 25 minutes. But lesson learned, I don’t go in near closing time anymoreThis last time, I went in and 10 minutes in “oh we don’t have sesame cream, you still want it? It’ll take a while to make the cream.” I asked how long and they said “actually we have enough to make it.” When it came out, they admitted they did not have enough. At this point I’ve learned my lesson, I tried it before I went home. It tasted off because of the lack of cream. They’d also completely forgotten the sesame paste… in the sesame drink (they actually forget this a lot somehow). I took it back in just asking for the sesame paste at least, and when I got it back… no difference. At this point I just gave upOverall, if you want to try a variety of unique drinks they admittedly have that. But not at a quality or the consistency that I would expect from a company trying to become a chain. I don’t think I’ll be going back for a while, hopefully they can sort out their service issues
