Review is for food only: I was pretty excited reading the reviews and the customer inside was also saying really good things. However, we were pretty disappointed with the food and before coming again would probably try another spot first.. Order: Pick 2 for $9: Fried tofu (3/5) & fish balls (2/5) Lunch meal (2/5) with popcorn chicken (3/5) My first time here and the menu confused me a bit at first.. Though we only wanted popcorn chicken a la carte and didn't want the whole lunch combo.. I didn't realize you could just order a large popcorn chicken. Anyway.. The popcorn chicken was just okay and would satisfy a craving, but not the best I've had. The lunch combo was also insanely salty!! Would not order again. I appreciate the option to pick two so we could try a few things. The tofu was just alright.. could've been fried longer, and the fish balls were just regular fish balls. Both only had a very light dusting or seasoning flour that was also insanely salty!! Maybe we just came on a heavy salting kind of day but ooof. Overall I would try somewhere new for snacks before coming here a second time.

Expensive not worth the long wait to order, long wait 30 plus minutes to get the food. Food temperature not HOT !! Mango Slushi Drink over priced. Only nice thing about this place is the decorations. WON'T BE RETURNING AND DONT RECOMEND

We will miss this place. They have the most authentic Taiwanese snack food, drinks, and bento boxes. Our favorites include the sweet potato balls, popcorn chicken, braised pork chop rice, and ice milk drinks. So sad to see you go.

I got the Osmanthus Iron Goddess tea, which was very good. It was perfectly sweet. The interior is very nice...kinda homey atmosphere. There's also a small parking lot next to the store.

I ordered the fried pork chop with rice and was quoted a 25 minute wait. I arrived early and paid for the food. After waiting 35 minutes, and orders after mine being handed out, I asked about my order. It seems like they forgot to make mine so I had to wait some more. A total of 51 minutes. I understand they were busy and things happen, but it doesn't make for a pleasant experience. Probably will not come back since there are so many other similar food places in this area.

The absolute best teahouse you'll ever experience. Top notch drinks, delicious food and relaxing environment. May A Plus Teahouse live on forever.

No more sweet potato ball. This place is bomb. All stuff are decent. Wish I have know it earlier. Came here today for the sweet. But they told me is discontinued.

This place has the best pork chop rice in San Gabriel Valley. It is fried with light oil and not too salty. The other food items like fried fish cake, fried sweeet potatoes and popcorn chicken rice are all pretty good. I'd not order fried fish meal. The fried filets I had were too oily and tasted dry. The drinks were all pretty decent like above average. Service was good. During lunch hours, orders sometimes take longer than expected.

We love this place! They have literally the best boba you can find in SGV. Their food selection is great, you can find something for everybody. Everything always tastes delicious and the staff is super nice and helpful. This is def our go-to spot!

This place is walking distance for me, so my husband and I comes here very often. Until they changed their operation hours. My work lunch hour simply doesn't work with their new hours. Therefore, we visited less. Then the food and drink quality changed, we visited even less. The other day my husband and his friends want to find an outdoor boba place to chat, he thought of A plus Tea house. He told me that their staffs rudely brushed them away. They no longer serve outdoor. I never had that problem myself. I usually order my food inside and get my food inside. They used to allow people sitting outside. Don't understand why they gave him hard time. Then today... I called for a pickup order. They don't have fried tofu, nor fried string beans for the combination. Then I asked if they fried seafood mushroom. The smart mouth staff told methat they don't have it and it doesn't comes in the combo anyway. I know. I know to order the seafood mushroom by itself. When I was asked him to cancel my order, he sounded as if he doesn't appreciate my business. I'm done with this place even though it's walking distance.

I really like the quality of the tea here, staff members are mostly friendly, and the owners are nice too. Tea here is used with mostly real ingredients. Favorite drinks here are lychee green tea and grape fruit orange green tea.

I came here for lunch and realized it was only for to-go orders, which disappointed me. I order the Brown Sugar Milk with Boba, Jasmin Green Tea with Boba, Mango Green Tea, Popcorn Chicken Rice and Fried Pork Chop Rice. I've there a few times before, but it seems that the quality of the drinks and food are not as good as before...

I'd say I'm a regular around here. Their milk tea has a distinct flavor. Their boba is a little soft and not particularly chewy. Personally, I prefer a chewier boba, but this one is still tasty. The boba here is pink, which is unusual. The popcorn chicken is out of this world. They have a crunchy exterior but are soft and juicy on the inside. I enjoy the fries here as well, but the seasoning may be a little too strong for me. If you enjoy boba milk tea, I highly recommend this establishment. I also love their strawberry orange green tea. This is one of my go to drinks. Along with that, I love getting their tempura because it is so good. The tempura is very chewy and is mochi like. The medium is quite spicy so I do recommend mild or no spice unless you truly like it spicy.

Really great quality tea leaves! My fiance had the hot osmanthus oolong and it was really nice. Fragrant, not too bitter, tasted incredibly fresh. I got the strawberry oolong milk tea with pink Boba. Really yummy. I love how I can customize the sweetness and ice level. I also got the popcorn chicken and it was good. Not too fatty or oily, but not exceptionally different from other popcorn chickens. There is currently no dine in, but there is some seating outside if you want to chill there for a bit. I also did see a sign that says they'll be closed on Wednesdays from on now until further notice, so check their hours before you go. Try out this tea spot, you won't regret it (:

Teastation was closed so I had to look for an alternate place to eat for lunch and my friend to grab a drink. I've driven past this place for years but it was my first time in here. It's actually a pretty comfy looking interior to hang out (dine in closed during covid). Food: Popcorn chicken wasn't particularly good or bad. Tasted like what I'd expect. I got the meal which came with rice, vegetables and tofu. The stew tofu was so perfectly made I have to just write tofu a few more times. Perfectly shaped, fried, and sauced/stewed. The green tea it came with was pretty refreshing and not overly sweet. Service: Friendly staff taking my order. Very informative to what the items include. Environment: Easy parking. Comfy interior. Can't wait for seating area to reopen. Price: Fair pricing for this type of food. Food: 4 Service: 4 Environment: 5 Price: 4
