It's just in the same plaza as the Good Fortune Market. I guess there are more than 100 restaurants you can get Vietnamese sandwiches, this one is just average. The room is some sort of dart, the counter is a little bit dirty (or old). The foods are acceptable but no surprise. Another restaurant with the same name at Pasadena is way much better than this.

I stopped by this afternoon (Feb 5, 2022) to get some egg rolls for a gathering and they were closing early at 2 pm. While I was there, I watched the staff handle an angry customer with grace as chaotic as it was and kudos to remaining patient. I asked why they were closing early and they mentioned closing early the previous week also and that the following week would be their last week given rising rent in the plaza. With their upcoming closure, three other locations neighboring locations remain.The staff was kind enough to freshly fry a batch of egg rolls for me and offered me a drink while I waited given the circumstance. I've come here plenty of times before and with their pending closure, it'll definitely leave a gap in this corner for a quick vietnamese sandwich and deli shop.

A friend and I were at a brewery nearby (shoutout to Ogopogo) and got hungryyyy. The pizza/food vendor in the front had already left so we decided on BMC. Dang, there are so many negative reviews for this spot, but having gone to many locations, I expect minimum service and standard sandwiches. You really can't beat that buy 2 get 1 free deal. This is a fast-food Viet establishment. so I set my standards low from the get-go. Anyway, got 2 bbq pork (thit nuong) and 1 cold cut (dac biet) sandwich. Even at 8pm, the staff was still making fresh bread, so I got a fresh loaf! I even asked for extra pate/mayo for the cold cut and the ladies more than obliged. I also added in the pandan ricecake (banh bo nuong) and it was bouncy, and better than I thougth it'd be. The service took a minute to come out since there were issues with a previous order but nbd. The food was standard of BMC and 100% satisfied our bellies. Will continue to come to this spot when I'm in the area and wanting banh mi cheap/fast.

GREEN MEAT!! Bought beef pho, raw meat was good, though the cooked meat was GREEN!! Everything else was fine, the pho and broth was good.

DO NOT COME HERE! The service here is TERRIBLE! I came here for boba milk tea today and it took them 15 minutes.....15 MINUTES to get my boba. OH, AND SHE THREW AWAY THE RECEIPT. I understand that there are customers behind me waiting to place their orders and that the cashier lady needs to help them. However, she also needs to consider those who are still waiting for their orders to come out. This place also lacks staff so your orders will be slower. She just kept helping others out and served those who came after me. Like dude...seriously? It was not just this time where I had to wait 15+ minutes for a single order. They really need to get their acts together and be proactive. There was a staff who was just sitting at the table talking to another person and not helping. If she is on break sure okay do whatever she wants to do, but if she is supposed to be on duty then that is a problem. I always see this place lacking teamwork and the person who is in charge of the cashier always seems to need backup and extra help from his/her co-workers. Overall, I would not come here again. They lack productivity and service.

They don't have a large drink menu but what they do offer a great BOGO deal. My friend brought me here to order a milk tea with boba and I received the free drink. We asked for our drinks to be half the sweetness of their regular drink and it ended up just right in flavor without it being overly sweetened.

I had the phở bò, and it was excellent! They've got the space if you want to sit down to enjoy your meal, but they also have a ton of offerings available as to-go items. They open at 7:00 a.m., so this is a great stop for someone who's on their way to work and want something quick. My cà phê sữa đá was also very good - not too sweet and not too bland. They have a two-for-one deal on a number of their drinks (sadly the Vietnamese coffee is not included in this deal). For those curious, they do accept cards in addition to cash. I will definitely be coming here again!

You know why you are here and yes Banh Mi & Che Cali still offers the buy two sandwiches get one free offer; however, what I didn't realize is that you only get the buy-one-get-one-free offer for their Cafe Sua Da (iced Vietnamese coffee) drinks when you purchase drinks without ordering any other items. There's no restriction on the buy-one-get-one-free offer for ANY other drinks with the sole exception for iced Vietnamese coffee. I didn't realize that and ended up not getting a discount on my 2nd drink when I had ordered my sandwiches together with two iced Vietnamese coffees. *** Vietnamese sandwiches or banh mi (two chicken and one BBQ pork - $12 for three sandwiches): I like their chicken banh mi because I personally prefer chunks of chicken pieces rather than shredded chicken. I wouldn't say BBQ banh mi here is better than Banh Mi My Tho's, but overall this is one of the most inexpensive banh mi you'll find in the SGV (San Gabriel Valley) area. Cafe Sua Da (iced Vietnamese coffee - $3.25 & buy one get one free only valid as à la carte order): Not as good as the one from Saigon's Bakery and Sandwiches, but way better than the one from Banh Mi My Tho. The drink had slight unpleasant aftertaste, but it wasn't as noticeable as the one I had from Banh Mi My Tho. Expect 50% of the cup is filled with ice cubes. *** Service is hit-and-miss because this location doesn't have nearly enough staff to process all of orders at a rapid pace during rush hours. Please note that the restaurant closes at 7:45 PM because I almost got blocked out when I arrived here at 7:40 PM. Not a bad place for to-go orders, but don't expect amazing service and 5-star worthy food/drinks. P.S. - Outdoor seating is not available.
