Currently my number 1 dim sum joint beating out Lunasia marginally. Excellent food and has some unique dishes. They tried to make the place look nice but you see what it is. Regardless food trumps all and it’s clean. Let’s see who can topple them!

Looks like they are out if business. Went by during their normal business hours and they were closed up and dark. This is my 3rd and last time going by during their posted business hours and they’re closed down. Don’t waste your time!

Well we're back at this restaurant again, last time we ate here was last year when they were nearly open. Service is good food is good everything seems to be the same except the price is a little higher but what else can you do. If you're not tried it come and check it out for yourself I recommend it.

This place had some of the best service I've ever had from an authentic Chinese restaurant. They were very attentive and accommodating.I went with a dim sum newbie and we ordered all the standard items and then some. All were very good and the portions of the non dim sum items are very generous. We went overboad and another highlight is that the to-go containers are surprisingly stylish. One caveat is that the menu can be a little confusing to fill out. The way the lines are laid out, you might end up ordering the item below what you actually want. Just check with the waitstaff if you're not sure.

The food is good. Parking takes time, most likely park on the street.

Food was horrible, way over priced. Only good thing was spacious and comfortable seating.

I attended the first day opening of this restaurant and have been back a couple of times. Overall the menu is quite interesting with some options you do not get in every dim sum menu. The plus is that they serve all day and menu items are made to order. There is a small parking lot in the back which most likely will be full, so be prepared for street parking. The wait can be long, but I believe you can reserve a table for parties of ten or more people. I really enjoyed the crispy lobster rolls with mayo dipping sauce, the egg yolk bun in a gorgeous black and gold presentation, crab egg rolls, scallop dumplings. The dim sum dish that blew my mind is the scallop and seafood egg wrapper dumpling topped with morel mushrooms. It is the absolute perfect dumpling, provided you enjoy seafood and mushrooms. I am interested in trying the baked abalone tart on a future visit.

I went here last year for Lunar New Year dinner with the extended family. My SIL got reservations and the place had a lot of parking in the covered lot. The parking lot smelled like cigarette smoke because that's where all the chefs go for their smoke breaks. Inside, the service was good and it was special because we ordered those prix fixe lunar new year family meals- they end with the number 8 in the price ($288, $388, etc.) The food wasn't amazing, but the ambiance was nice. I think the dim sum is good, that's what all the other reviews say- so gotta go back and try that out.

Recently visited Bistro 1968 for lunch with a large group, unfortunately had a bit of a disappointing experience. The interior decor was lovely - very clean and modern with plenty of space between tables. However, the food quality was off today. Some dishes came out cold, while others were lacking in seasoning or had ingredients missing. For example, the rice paper shrimp rolls were strangely devoid of any shrimp! Overall, I would say Bistro 1968 has the potential to be a great dining option, but this particular visit fell short. The environment and service aim to provide a quality experience, but the inconsistent food left much to be desired.

Came here because some of our favorite dim sum spots did not survive the pandemic. The service was... not great, which is pretty par for the course. We got in a tea order when we were first seated and then our food order 15 minutes later but didn't see a waiter after that until the end of the meal. As for the food, it was fine but fairly bland. Mostly a seasoning issue, but that seems to be prevalent throughout their dishes.

Worst fried rice I've ever had in my life... needs more seasoning. Made me sick to my stomach

Came here on a Sunday while there was an NFL playoffs going on and they had it playing on every TV as well as a projector. I can’t think of another dim someplace that I’ve ever been able to watch football at.We got seated for a party of five immediately at 2 PM, they were not sold out of any dishes that we ordered.
