When we got there on Saturday, 12/10/22 the place was closed. We weren't sure if it was permanent or not and there were no signs.

First time trying this place. I like the fact that they use an online system to order food without waiting for the waiter that save so much time and so much convenience especially if you want to add more food. The soup base overall was ok, we got the pork bone, spicy and tomatoes. I didn't like the tomatoes but the pork bone is pretty good. We also ordered bunch of other meat and veges. The item that disappoint the most is the pig brain. They didn't do a good job in getting rid of the smell. Overall, hotpot are ok. Just don't get the pig brain.

Air conditioning doesn’t work well, which doesn’t make for a comfortable hot pot experience when you’re sitting in front of a stove. There were also mosquitoes biting us throughout the meal INSIDE the restaurant. Food was alright, but won’t be returning. The low rating is unfortunately valid.

Wow they have good service , a really handsome boss/ manager that is not wearing uniform serving the customers. The lady at the front desk was really sweet too by offering us ice cream while we were waiting . They definitely got their service on point. The free meat was a bonus to us as we did not expect that and we will recommend this to our friends while this offer stands. Food was great , staff cleared the extra plate and were quick to service you when you wanted it. Overall , 5 star experience is what you will get here!

My husband is a fan of hotpot. Recommend 牛油锅底,酥肉,土豆片,鹅肠,虾滑. Will come back next time.

The restaurant is on the second floor. You order your food in an app. It’s not all you can eat but it’s still affordable. Plenty of underground parking. The duck tongue is really gamey.

I've been to DaLongYi 4 times (paused for a couple of years due to COVID), never had a bad experience. I'm from Sichuan, and my hot pot experience is 30+ years. I can attest that the flavor is absolutely authentic. This is my favorite Sichuan Hot Pot in LA. I took my American friends there, and they all liked it too.A couple of tips for first timers:1. The spice level here is comparable to the hot pot restaurants in Sichuan. Translation: medium is already very spicy, even to me. Stick to little spicy if you are used to medium elsewhere. If you can only eat mild in other places, choose little little spicy. There's no shame in sticking with non-spicy options, either. Their mushroom soup base is delicious as well.2. They offer half portions, which is a huge plus. I often overorder when eating hot pot because there are some many varieties that I want. Having the option for half orders made is so much more friendly for smaller groups. The best part is that the price for their half portion is actually half of the full portion, so you can enjoy the variety without paying a premium.Maybe I'm lucky, but I also have never encountered bad service. In fact the service during my most recent visit was top notch. Not only were the two servers attentive and courteous, the owner was super nice to all the guests (we sat near the entrance and saw she greeting customers as they walked in). There was a mix up of the soup base for the table behind us, the owner apologized right away and had it taken care of. She came to our table a couple of times to ask for feedback and check on us, even gave my two kids complementary yogurt. My kids liked the place so much that they asked to go again even before we left. Not saying the other reviews quoting bad service was false, just that those were a long time ago, and not at all the same as my personal experience. Maybe they hired new servers since. The owner definitely has the right attitude to make your visit a pleasant one.

Sad to say, I have been looking forward to coming here. Da Long Yi Hot Pot is one of the worst ones I've been to. The food, you can get at any average grocery store. The quality of the meat is just not good. And the place barely has any AC cuz it was kinda a bit hot and I'm not talking about having the hot pot in front of me.

I love this hot pot restaurant, probably one of the best in SoCal. It's not cheap but the quality is good. I especially like they offer half orders. You can try many items for a smaller portion and price. I also love their sauce bar. Lots of sauces and deserts. I have been here twice and I enjoyed both of my visits. They also have tons of authentic Chinese hot pot items that you can't get at other restaurants.

Came here on a Monday afternoon for lunch with a group of 7 people! We got 2 pots for all of us and we split each pot 3 ways. We got the mala spicy level 1 and level 2, two bone broths, and 2 tomato broths. We got mushrooms, spinach, Napa cabbage, fried Chinese donut, lots of meat, soy milk, and a passion fruit juice pitcher. The level 2 spicy is INTENSE, very spicy, but delicious. I really enjoyed the bone broth too, to my surprise, since I feel like a lot of other bone broths taste like nothing. The passion fruit juice was perfect to wash the spice away. Service was speedy and the value and price were great. Also, I'm a sauce lover and I was so happy to see such a huge sauce bar.

THEY YELL AT CHILDREN!! A grown lady yelled at my 15 year old daughter and her TWO friends and demanded a $12 tip. I would understand if she went with a big group of friends but no. This restaurant already placed a 10% service charge on her bill and then expected a $12 tip on top of that?? My child and her friends felt scared to even leave this establishment, in fear they might get yelled at and scolded even more. This behavior is completely unprofessional and I am certain they would not treat adults how they treated my child and her friends. Do better if you want to keep up with business because you have clearly lost ours!

It's like eating in a sauna. Prepare for some real heat when eating here. If you want to avoid the super spice, get the bone broth. Very tasty. I usually get the medium spice hot pot, and man it hurts so good. Love the "make your own sauce" station. Great service, amazing flavor. Highly recommend if you like super spice.

They charged 15% automatically to the bill( the original price)if you use the diacount combo, even we only have two people. They charged us $20 tips for $60(after tax) food.

Pretty solid hot pot place that gets the job done. A quite spacious restaurant that has individual rooms for larger parties. Service was good although idk why they were so frugal about giving us water.. We had a group of 6 and they just gave us one bottle for the whole table and when we asked for more it was like one more bottle that we downed in 5 minutes. Idk maybe we have to be more aggressive next time. Don't really remember everything we ordered exactly but we were all really hungry and had our experience friend order everything. There is a snack bar with fruits and other side dishes but beware you have to pay extra for that. We didn't know until after the fact. The soup flavors were all pretty on point but I would say the ingredients aren't the best quality. The meats were like half fat or more. I prefer leaner cuts. Overall pretty satisfied with everything but it's not at the top of my list of hot pot places.

The spicy soup is excellent! The meats and veggies are all fresh. They could have been a bit more generous with the meat. All the condiments were fresh and neatly organized. Parking was was a cinch. Great place to warm up during a cold night like today.
