Walked in after dinner at Sam Woo. They had the open sign still up but it was actually after store hours. The woman did not say the store was closed when we walked in. She figured she wanted to maximize business and did not say a word. I was with my elderly parents and they took their time to pick out the pastries. When they paid with cash in exact change, the woman blew up on them. She was yelling "We already have closed, I'm not going to let you count your change, let me give you the change". This place only treats patrons like dirt and pick on senior citizens. Oh BTW their pineapple bun bread and red bean buns were stale and tasteless.

*UpdateSo I would like to add to this review. The rating stands, in fact if zero stars could be given, I would give just that. A man from this business called me this morning to confront me about the miscommunication on his part. Apparently he never received my email regarding flavors we chose because he gave me the wrong email address to respond to. He began to yell at me on the phone and cut me off every time I tried to respond. He kept saying it was my fault he never received any response from me and I told him if that’s the case, he should have followed up with me. I never once spoke to him and he kept yelling at me trying to place the blame on me for his mistake. He had the nerve to try and yell at me to make another appointment to which I said we chose another bakery. After that ridiculous phone call, I reached out to our wedding coordinator and let her know of our experience with this terrible Bakery and they're awful customer service.I had a frustrating experience with this bakery. We scheduled a cake tasting over the phone and later continued the details via email for a specific time and date. We went over flavor options and chose from the list we were given. When we arrived on the date a few minutes early, the person working there barely acknowledged us. I let her know we had scheduled an appointment and she was so confused. Apparently no one told her we were coming and had nothing prepared. She demanded to be shown proof that we had an appointment and started scrolling through my phone and emails. She said that she didn’t have anything to give us and went back to making phone calls with her back to us. I was so frustrated my fiancé and I just decided to leave. This was a terrible experience. This bakery was referred to us through our wedding reception venue. Completely unreliable and not even apologetic about it. We wasted our morning driving out there for such an awful experience. It’s unfortunate that our venue works with and refers people to businesses like these.

Ladies and Gentlemen, watch out your receipt, checked before you leave!I went yesterday and was over charged one shredded pork bun and another $2.60 charge for nothing but named "paid in full"!I called the day after, first the lady answered the phone said the person in charge will be there at 5pm and she will call me back at 5pm. 6pm passed no one called me. I called again, they acted like don't know what I am talking about.I sent them the receipt, no apology nor anything but a $3 store credit! I asked them paid me with PayPal Zelle Venmo or any kind because I don't want to drive all the way there but all were denied. And the lady added on "You are welcome to report us to any department or organization you like, that's all we can do! " then the phone ended. There's no apology nor any kind of active problem solving.

I used to like this bakery. They had freshly made bread and great flavor variety. However, the quality seems to have been dropping in the last few months. Some breads are stale and oftentimes there aren't many options to choose from, even if you go in the early morning...

First time checking out this Diamond Bakery. This bakery chain has definitely seen better days. It used to be very popular and the place to grab cakes and small pastries. The bakery felt like a small mom and pop shop and the new logo really did not go with their business. This shop is located in the plaza with the 168 market, Pizza Hut and the Sun Nong Dan restaurant. Parking can get pretty packed on the weekends because everyone is going to the market to go shopping for groceries. I stopped by here to grab a few pastries and to see what this store was like. I came in close to 10am knowing that most bakeries should have their freshly baked goods out and ready to sell. Upon walking in, the shelves looked very sad and relatively empty. For a Saturday morning, I expected more. They had a small tray of egg tarts on display and some breads that could have kept overnight along with some cookies. There weren't a lot of options for me, so I picked a few things and I was on my way. If you're in need of a cake, they have those there as well as a gift box of color macarons. During my visit I picked up some fortune cookies, small baked pastries and some small buns. If you want more baked good choices, I would suggest going to another bakery. If you want more baked good choices, I would suggest going to another bakery.

*The young lady/cashier was very helpful and the facilities were clean!*Choices of bread, unfortunately, was very limited despite there were various "refrigerated sliced Western cakes" on display!

Conveniently located next to 168 market with plenty of free parking. Diamond bakery is a relatively small family owned bakery stocked lots of different kinds pastries and cakes. I tried the Portuguese egg tart, walnut date bar, and curry beef puff. All 3 we're absolutely delicious. The portion size is super generous and the prices are fair for the area. Service wasn't too inviting but it wasn't a big enough issue to ruin the visit. I am definitely going back to try more things! Overall I would recommend this bakery to anyone in the area looking for some amazing Asian sweets.

My mom and I popped into this bakery randomly since I was looking for a cake for my sister's bridal shower. We found a variety of cake designs at reasonable prices (the most reasonable out of all the bakeries I checked out). I ended up ordering a custom 8" cake for ~$51.50 with a gradient pink rosette design. Everyone at the bridal shower loved the cake for it's look and taste. It was a success and got rave reviews from our guests. I also ordered 18 cupcakes from this same bakery out of convenience, for $3 a piece, however they did not deliver. When they asked me if I wanted to add sprinkles to the cupcakes I said yes but they ended up decorating with confetti, not fitting or appropriate for a bridal shower - birthday maybe. Additionally, the guests found the cupcakes dry.

The franchised diamond bakery store is conveniently located in the plaza with grocery market and restaurants, $10 limit for credit card, less than that cash only, tried their pineapple milky cream toast.

They have super yummy Portuguese egg custard tarts! The black sesame and red bean buns were also really tasty. A little disappointed with the durian bun since the flavor was a bit on the artificial side, but overall, they're a good find.

Delicious Chinese pastries - the usual red bean buns, taro buns, custard tarts - but tastier than average shops nearby. One of the few places that make Durian cakes!!
