Very friendly and accommodating. Good quality, reasonable prices, quick service. The restaurant is small, only a few tables. In this post pandemic world where more and more of us prefer takeout or dine in, this is a great place for dim sum.

I stopped by here when I was passing through and decided to try this small dim sum spot in San Gabriel. They only have 4 tables for dining and it seems like a small mom and pop shop. Everything seemed clean and organized though. This is in a strip mall on the corner of San Gabriel Blvd and Las Tunas. I got the bbq pork buns which were good as the other places I've tried. The deep fried pork dumpling was new to me. It wasn't crispy at all. It was just chewy like a rice cake. And the shrimp wrapped rice noodle roll, when I lifted one up, one seemed like it was deflated with only the shrimps showing, where is the rest of the rice roll wrap? Lol. Everything was just ok, no wow factor at all. Nothing to be blown up about. I think once was enough for me.

Good variety even later in the day. There are homeless in the area. Quick service. Clean. Would go again for their decent prices.

Good tasting food, reasonable prices, friendly services. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is this may not be the best place for a sit down meal. The dim sum prices around SGV are outrageous these days. They even charge babies for teas, since the tea charge is based on head-counts not by age. So I rather buy from Dim Sum Box to go. Everything I ordered tasted great.

Extended wait time, I don't understand why it takes 20 mins after ordering on the phone to get my food. You only make a few things, just keep them in the steamer until the end of the day. The whole ordeal took 40 mins from the time I ordered to pick up. Unacceptable!

Great fresh dim sum place. Small mom and pop business but nice server and great tasting. Portions were larger than your other dim sum places. The menu is small but has all the standard dishes. My favorite was the preserved egg and shredded pork congee. So good. I also liked their BBQ Pork Bun and shrimp shu mai. Yum!

This is a nice small little place that serves traditional dim sum. The selection is limited, but it includes all your basics. Where it lacks in variety, it makes up in quality. I just ate the best Siu Mai I've had in many years. Service is fast, staff is nice, food is good. Although the place is small, we arrived shortly before noon and there were empty tables. I think a lot of their business is takeout.

Everything here was delicious. Everything was very flavorful and tasted fresh. Service is friendly and quick. It's a tiny place so not really a good place for big groups. They had alot of take out orders. My favorite dishes are shrimp siu mai, steam, mini pork bun, spare ribs. Pretty much everything ordered was good.

Waited 15 mins to order food and about 40 mins for the food. Service sucks here will never come back. I paid after I ordered my food then when the food was ready she asked me to pay again.

DEEEELICIOUS! And affordable! And quick. Everything is good and fresh. One thing is I also ordered chicken feet but it wasn't charged or included.... Maybe my mark was not in the middle of the box so she didn't see it. Make sure you put an X in the order sheet so they don't miss anything!

This place is fantastic. Born and raised in LA. Growing up in this culture people love to criticize nit picky stuff. Its not a restaurant. Its a take out place. A few tables, not a service restaurant. The stuff on their menu is the most common items we've ordered from any sit down dim sum restaurant. They focus on quality of the items. Most of the stuff is cook to order thus why its "slow" as people describe. We just had a 100 day party for my granddaughter for 120 people. Over a 1000 pieces of dim sum. I drove from Yorba Linda to Alhambra because of the food and the character of the people running the business. Mindy not only packaged the items in quality aluminum steam containers but provided foam to go boxes. Nice touch. There was alot of leftovers and we are still getting raving complimentary texts constantly. In a time where overall food supply quality has suffered, give them a break and kudos for upholding great quality food. Support them. I believe their other location closed down. I wish they weren't so far from us.

All in all, it’s a pleasant place for casual eating. Not a big space but everyone has a smile on their face.

Limited selection on menu but great quality. BBQ buns were super fluffy. Limited seating in restaurant. Will be back!
