Very good customer service. Feels welcome the moment you walked in. This place is under new management, employees are very friendly, smiling, greating u once u walk in. Raudel is very professional, kind and helpful. He makes sure customers are happy with the service. The place is very clean. I used to go to el pollo loco in Alhambra on commonwealth, that place always ran out of salsa. I highly recommend this el pollo loco in san gabriel u will never have to worry of no salsa.Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere, very clean. Staff are friendly and professional.

Credit where credit is due. I have not had El Pollo Loco in years due to this location not having chicken once when I visited (!) and spending over half an hour in the drive through at another location (cough, cough Pasadena up Rosemead) but I was curious when I saw a sign that said under new management. So tonight I gave it a try and it was great! After delivering a pickup order in the parking lot the female manager greeted me and held the door open for me. The staff inside were well trained and courteous and my food was hot and delicious. Great job guys!

Went here to buy some chicken to try since it has a under new management sign. I can say it has quick service, I got my order within 5min. The chicken tastes as good as I remember. I'll probably come back to this location over others.

This is the worst run El Pollo Loco on the planet. I've sworn off going there for years, but it's so close to my house that I have given them a 2nd, 3rd,4th,5th, and 6th chance, and each time they fail the test. This last time was the straw that broke the camel's back. They are always running low on chicken and almost always out of meat. Each time I try and have dinner there it's a 15-20 wait for chicken breast meat, so I end up driving 15 minutes to the El Pollo on Colorado near PCC. This particular El Pollo is the complete opposite with plenty of chicken, very friendly staff, and excellent manager.El Pollo Corporate needs to step-up and show this franchise owner in San Gabrielhow to better run their business or pull their franchise rights.

I last came here before new management and it was abysmal to say the least. I vowed not to return. Recently I noticed a "under new management" marquee and decided to give it another shot. I must say I was pleased with the service, cleanliness and my food. Thank you new management, I will see you again soon.

Okay so under new management makes a difference. The food tastes better and the service is best in class. John aka Jhon and Sarah are so nice. They told me about all the deals. Thoroughly explained the menu and were very generous with the salsa and onions/cilantro. This used to be an el pollo loco I dreaded going to. But now I really enjoy it. Even the workers seem like they enjoy their jobs and having a good time. I will be coming here a lot more. Oh and the food. YES even the food tastes better. The salsa is chunky and the chicken is cooked to perfection.

We've been going here for years now that the new owner is in charge is a big difference. It's great customer service. Great food and we're glad there's a new owner manager. This place has done a 360. Food is great and great customer service before this it was a shambles services not good. Service is poor. Just give it up to the new owner. Thank you. We can continue going for years to come

I have been eating at different locations of El Pollo Loco but I think this location has consistently been the best of all! Chicken have always been delicious. Moist & crispy & flavorful. I cannot ask for more in a fast food chain! The staff & management have always been nice & friendly. Restrooms are kept clean with good amenities. I have been coming here at least once a week.

Restrooms have been always clean & have good amenities (toilet seat cover sheets, toilet papers, paper towels, soaps). I hope they keep up their good work since I have been a loyal customer here (come at least once every week!)

I have been coming here for over 3 years and I was told it was a corporate store - at best the food was a 2 on a good day but I the last week there is a new owner/ manager named Raudel, seems like he brought his team from his other store here and the food is beyond delicious - the chicken was moist and hot! Now he just needs to clean house on some of the rude employees and I will come here several times a week!
