This afternoon, my family and I dined at the Hi Pie Shau May restaurant with a total of 7 people. The service was horrible from the second I came in. The service was completely unprofessional, with the workers appearing indifferent and uninterested. And to make matters worse, the table I was sitting at was unclean and disgusting. The presence of food marks and crumbs from previous customers showed that the restaurant did not place a high priority on cleaning. It's wrong to demand that customers eat their food on such unhygienic surfaces. There is no fan or air conditioner, thus the area is extremely hot. My wife places an order for two sets of the three-item combination plates and two of noodle soup. The server tells my wife that our family is too large and taking up too much room in the restaurant as she is about to pay for the food. The server wants us to purchase four sets of the combination plates with three-item foods in order for them to offer us extra bowls so we can eat here. So the restaurant is making us place larger orders in order to eat there? We decided to just order the combination plates and eat at home instead of canceling the noodle soups. We asked for to-go boxes so we could pack the food and take it home, but the server doesn't appear to want to offer us to-go boxes... We ate the food at home....it tasted terrible, it was bad, we regretted coming here and had to throw it away... This horrible restaurant will be both our first and final visit... Overall, my visit to Hi Pie Shau May Restaurant was a regrettable experience. The combination of bad service, filthy tables, and terrible food left a lasting negative impression. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining at this restaurant to look elsewhere for a more satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

Food is fresh because they are always busy so the customer flow keeps it fresh. Cheap and tasty but the temperature is not hot enough otherwise I would give5 stars. Good and cheap for single workers. Nothing fancy.
Fast and convenient, cheapest restaurant in that area, too greasy for most of food. Can be four stars if greasy improved.

This little hole in the wall has really good Chinese food takeout. CASH ONLY! I forgot and the owner was so nice and told me to come tomorrow to pay. Who does that these days?? What a sign of trust! She has earned a lifetime customer. Come early as items do run low closer to closing time.
