Permanently changed to Tsujita Noodle, no longer Killer Noodles! Owned by the same company but a totally different menu.

Im into this place. I always order Tokyo Style NO SOUP Spice 3 / numbness 2. I keep it kinda mild but I’ve tried and witnessed higher attempts at spice and it’s Melt your face off killer! Fried Chicken Karaage is pretty on point too. Yum Yum

Love the Szechuan peppercorn. Numbing and spicy hello sweet and peanuts a perfect dish for a night cap.

Delicious broth! I can't handle spicy so I got level 1 spicy and 0 numb. It was perfect for me. My friends really enjoyed the level 3 spicy, which was the standard level. If you like Szechuan numbness and spice, this is a great ramen spot. Attentive and friendly staff!

The spice and numbness levels are always fun to play with here. But besides that the noodles are very good by themselves. Rich broth and great overall taste. Definitely a good go to spot

I still can't quite tell the difference between the Tokyo and downtown style noodles. I've gotten both with soup and think that they taste the same. If you get the large, they really do give you a lot of noodles which is terrific but makes the ratio of noodle to soup horrible. At a couple of points, I felt like I was eating the dry noodle/without soup version. I wish there was more soup as it is really tasty and flavorful. Would come again!

I wanted to like this place. I love the original location, but the food at this one is significantly worse, also when compared to other nearby noodle joints. The service is also incredibly terrible. I basically had to chase down the waitress to get the bill or a refill of water, and they just straight up didn't have any to go boxes. Skip this one.

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend, I got the downtown without soup lvl 1 spice and he got the original without soup lvl 3 (standard spice). I have a pretty low spice tolerance (i usually order mild at most places) and the lvl 1 was a perfect amount of spicy for flavor without making my tongue so numb i couldn't enjoy what i was eating, but i may try lvl 2 next time for a good kick. My boyfriend really enjoyed the standard lvl 3 but needed to buy an extra drink (we tried the jasmine tea with foam) about halfway through his meal. In his exact words "Its soooo good but my mouth is totally numb" The waitress recommended the "without soup" to really get the flavors of the dish and I'm appreciative of that recommendation cuz it was delicious!

I live in Fullerton, usually I driver all the way to the LA Sawtelle location... serious about the noodle!!Today we decided to go to the San Gabriel location.. we arrived there at 850pm.. once we opened the door..a lady that was taking the order from someones table ...told us right of the bat.. hello... we're only taking orders to go... It was 850pm.. they close at 930pm.. there was people still ordering..and getting drunk there... so there is no excuse... there was a couple after us..and they left as wellWhoever schedules and manage this location.. please respect your hours.. We still love the noodles..but after this ... my 4 times a month... might get reduced ...

I come here maybe once a month. The food is really good. I can usually get sat pretty quickly. The food gets to you a little slow sometimes so just be mindful of that.

I wanted to try here for a while, but the killer/spicy/numbness on the menu threw me off. I've been to the Tsujita before at Glendale Americana, I really enjoyed the ramen & Tsukenmen there, was really bummed that they closed that location during the pandemic. Here at Killer Noodles the menu is different and limited. We couldn't really tell the difference between the Tokyo Style and the Downtown style, hubby decided to order level 0 spicy and level 0 numbness on the Downtown finally. I decided on the regular raman just so we can try both. The regular ramen tasted....regular. I do like the very hot broth in temperature but it was a bit bland. This may be a nut allergy person's nightmare, but the peanut butter and cashew Downtown ramen was surprisingly pretty good and different from anything we've tasted before. It definitely felt heartier. Although I wished it had char siu pork slices instead of ground pork and chicken. I guess you win some and you lose some. The karaage fried chicken is pretty big pieces and it's tender.Overall we had a decent dinner here. When you walk in you order at the big kiosk ipad, and just grab a number for your table for your order.

Pros:1. It's different and tasty. I wouldn't have thought of peanut butter and cashews mixed with my ramen but it works and tastes good. 2. For the fried chicken, they are fairly large pieces and tender/moist.Cons:1. Bowl seems small. It's hard to compare because the bowl is not as wide but slightly deeper than normal. Overall it felt like there was less food in the bowl than average.2. Fairly limited menu.

My boyfriend is always looking to eat the spiciest food around. After my friends recommended this place for dinner, I knew I had to prepare myself for what was next.My boyfriend ordered the large Tokyo Style noodles with no soup - with 4 numbness and 5 spicy level. I was a little frustrated that the restaurant doesn't clearly state that the difference between regular and large is the amount of noodles. To the naked eye, the dishes look the same. It would have been nice to know when reading the menu. The dish looked a little intimidating when it came out, but I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the sauce and noodles were. The sauce was creamy and nutty. Even though it was extremely spicy and you could definitely feel the numbness, the dish was still enjoyable because of how good the flavor was. Even though my mouth was on fire, I kept wanting to eat another noodle. For $17, I thought the dish was worth the money. If we're ever in the area, I'd love to come by and eat more food.

I am by no means a ramen connoisseur. Had the Downtown. Spicy level 1 numbness Leven 1. Taste was good. Presentation nice. And like the other reviews here, I'm not entirely sure the noodle was a ramen. Whatever the noodle was, it was too hard (undercooked) for my liking. Husband had the Downtown and the noodle used there was definitely ramen. Great, fast service! Unfortunately, they had run out of a lot of important items the night we visited; no teas and no chicken.
