This place is amazing! I came here starving! Ordered some dumplings and left happy! I ordered the pork wirh leek boiled dumpling, wonton in spicy sauce, and cabbage shrimp and pork boiled dumplings. They brought us some tea and I have ro say these dumplings are so good ! They didn't take long and I would come back here every single time. Check them out! I think this may be mybplace for dumplings for sure!

Late update; visited late July, 2022. Add a star after visiting several other places. Won't come back again.My coworker recommend this place when I was craving for dumplings but forgot to mention her visit was pre-pandemic... ^0^"After compared several places,, I add a star because their filling is not as watery as a couple of others. However, won't come back because my order was wrong & over cooked >> The dumpling skin is soggy and fall all. I tried the most pricey sea cucumber filling dumpling based on my friend's (pre-pandemic) recommendation, and not only none of the dumplings I can see or taste sea cucumber, but they mixed in quite a few others in that order—chive, some dark green veggies, and maybe regular pork? This is a scam.Mind you I ate in the parking lot because the store was to go only, and I waited for my order, so they just don't know how to cook dumplings! Cheating is also a major problem. My grandma's right. This is something I should make myself... HahaParking: Parking lot is more friendly with traffic from the west bound on Las Tunas. Could be long wait and difficult when making left turn coming out from the west side entrance/mission.

Fish dumplings!!! Though we've had better versions elsewhere of some of the dishes we've tried at Kingburg, you can't get these FISH DUMPLINGS anywhere else.

I had a big order of dumplings and noodles for a party I was having for 25 people. We had 4 different kinds of dumplings and several sides. The dumplings were a hit with everyone and we ate all of them. The pickup was seamless. The chef made all the dumplings by hand by herself. She operates the kitchen solo and does a phenomenal job. The food is absolutely delicious!! Will definitely order from Kingburg again.

I would give it five stars if they had their vegetarian items in stock more but it was hard to even get these buns! I finally tried their buns after 3 attempts, each time the lady told me they're out of stock of vegetarian items but I got lucky today! I tried their vegetarian buns and boy did they hit the spot! So nostalgic of my days in Taiwan! The buns are fluffy and filled with mustard greens, mushrooms, and tofu! It was piping hot and served with vinegar and chili oil! Sooo good, I just wish they had vegetarian dumplings and buns more in stock all the time, but I know they only make a limited quantity everyday because they wrap them fresh!

This is our go-to for dumplings and all of our visitors get a taste of Kingburg! The food tastes great and the service is wonderful. The staff work so hard to make everything by hand and get your food to you quickly. This place is also VERY affordable. We always tip big because of the love and care of the staff. I've been impressed with their Covid precautions as well. My faves: fish dumpling is A++. Also love the pork and shrimp dumpling and the scallion pancakes.

Fantastic restaurant! Best dumplings in SoCal. This is one of my top spots for special dinner nights and it is one of the go-to restaurants that I bring visitors to. They have pan-fried and boiled dumplings; I generally get an order or two of both styles along with different fillings. Their fried rice and soups are also very good. The fried buns are worth a try and are very filling

It is really run by one lady, and you can see her making the dumplings to order. I ordered two combos, beef noodle soup with sole and leek dumplings, and pork and snow cabbage noodle soup with pork and cabbage dumplings. The dumplings were great, and were flavorful, but I expected the noodles to have more chew if they were hand made. I'll ask for al dente next time. Soups were tasty as well, but I suspect there was MSG as we were very thirsty afterwards.There is no dine in yet. I had some trouble ordering on the website so they called me back to take my order all over again, so it might be better to just phone in your orders.

This is one of our regular rotations since my baby gobbles up their dumplings and my husband loves loves loves their spicy beef noodles. But pack your patience... One woman really does run the entire restaurant herself. She answers the phone + takes all walk in orders. She makes the dumplings fresh/on the spot when u place your order. We love the food but I would avoid ordering on Friday night or any time past 6 pm.... Unless u r planning to have a really really late dinner. But Kudos to her hard work and dedication.

This place is truly only mediocre, which was super disappointing. The portions are small and the flavors are very light in my family's opinion. We picked up quite a few things - the green onion pancake, beef cake, beef noodle soup, sweet and sour soup, potstickers and the Taiwanese sausage and egg fried rice, and nothing really stood out as being very good. I would say out of all the above, the potstickers were the best. Everything else was very meh and flavorless. Would not recommend this place for Taiwanese food - Taipei Bistro and Sinbala are much, much better, and you will be happier with your meal.
