Fantastic Vietnamese coffee, baugettes and egg rolls all at a great price. COVID-19 Measures: Saigon Bakery and Sandwiches is enforcing social distancing and requires customers to wear masks to be served. Staff also wear gloves, so that you know you are safe eating at Saigon Bakery. Food: The Vietnamese coffee here is a must, and it honestly one of the best Vietnamese coffees I've had (even comparing to coffees I've had in Saigon). Besides the great coffee, though, the bauguettes are to die for. They come out freshly baked and slightly warm. They're so good, in fact, that I've heard of people buying a dozen at a time. The egg rolls are also delicious. Price: The price is really affordable, and you definitely get a good bang for your buck. Service: Great service. Period. Location: Located in the San Gabriel Valley china town, this establishment is a little bit of a drive from Los Angeles city proper, but it's well worth a visit if you're nearby. Verdict: Go now! Get a baugette and a cup if Vietnamese coffee. Location

I wished I tried the banh Mei here. I came because I ordered.A banh xie from another place the owner there recommend this place to be the best egg rolls. I think the fried pork egg rolls were kind of different inside but it didn't matter to me I still like it slit. My husband thought it was kind of mystery meat. I kinda liked it but not loved it. I also got the summer rolls and it okay it was missing the crispy factor.

Been coming for like 10 years, always got my special Saigon sandwich with 3 meat pies with a honey dew boba. But the sandwich dont taste the same no more maybe its missing those spread sauces i dont know. But i tried the mixed cup with beans and jelly, it was bomb

Love their sandwiches. They have buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round breads (my favorite!) Very soft and aromatic. It came out to be approximately $9.50. my go to is the bbq pork but I'm sure anything on their menu is delicious. Great service and I appreciate how they are open so early! Small parking lot but you can always park in the SG super store lot and walk over. You can also call in to order as well I noticed when I went recently a new option is that they now accept credit cards. Previously it was only cash only but now that is very convenient. Come check it out try any of their sandwiches!! Note: they are slightly pricier than Banh mi che cali but honestly you gotta try it. Both make delicious variations of banh mi but I personally like saigon for their round soft breads. But I also continue to go to BMC as well, enjoy!!!!

I'm so glad I discovered Saigon's Bakery. I actually prefer going to Saigon's Bakery over BMCC. First of all the banh mi are cheaper. Both places have buy 2 get 1 free but Saigon actually costs less. Secondly, the sandwich also tastes better. Saigon includes 3 things that BMCC doesnt have: pate, cilantro, and cucumber. These small things elevate the sandwich and give it a lot more flavor and freshness. BMCC usually uses mayo (not pate) and only has the basic toppings of pickled veg and jalapeno. My go-to banh mi is the cha (pork meatloaf). The only challenge of the banh mi is how damn wide they are. I actually have to smash the sandwich down so I can realistically bite into it. The bread is really crumbly and you will get crumbs everywhere.

I remember my dad taking me here as a child. Now I have no one to cook for me HAHA. I go here to get delicious vietnamese food! I usually get their #22 banh mi cha and sometimes banh cuon with cha if available! The banh mi bread is nice and crunchy soft. During Chinese New Year I grabbed banh tet and it was delish! Also they sell uncooked fresh eggrolls. I ask for this because you can go home and freeze them yourself! Pop them out and fry eggrolls any time! They have the best eggrolls, even cooking them at home they were nice and crunchy! I recommend you call ahead of time because they will roll them up for you freshly & that takes time for them! Price per uncooked eggroll 75 cents. I got a box of 20 for $15.00 if curious. :) This is probably one of my top banh mi stores in the sgv! I come here at least once a month, thank you to the workers at business for always making me good vietnamese food because it brings me home! :) Haha my Vietnamese is very broken but they always understand me!

This place is one of my favorite banh mi shops. You get the option of choosing between two different baguettes AND it's buy 2 get 1 free?! A DEAL!! I came on a Saturday morning with my mom and the line was already out the door, but the line moves relatively quickly. Per COVID, only 2 people are allowed in store, people stand a respectful distance from you, and credit/debit cards are accepted here! They have their own designated parking lot, which makes life a lot easier since they're located at a big intersection. I suggest coming from Del Mar/Valley so that you can easily make a right turn into the parking lot. My family likes to order the cha (pork meat loaf), ga (shredded chicken), and the thit nuong (grilled pork). When we're in the mood for the shorter, fluffier bread, this is our go-to place. They also have an assortment of snacks and baked goods on the side. With fast service and delicious banh mi at a reasonable price, does it get any better than this?
