Small dive bar. There’s a lot of nice people and a lot of regulars. They only serve beer, wine, and white claws, but the drink prices are very reasonable. Bartenders are nice and helpful. There’s a juke box to play your tunes.

Being a local in the SGV, I’ve passed by this place since the early 80’s but never stopped in, until today. I get the dive bar, no problem. Here’s the no list:-no diet-no ice-no bottled water (tap)-no airGreat tvs and nice bartender but no ice is a deal breaker ?

This place rocks! It's my favorite dive bar. The bartenders are super chill. Taylor is my favorite bartender. The service is awesome. The beer is cold. The jukebox has music. The stools are comfortable. They got a new pool table when they remodeled after COVID shutdowns which is pretty cool also. The vibes are vibin'. I've been coming here for a while and it never disappoints.Check it out!

I live on the street Sharky's shares the back of its building with and the amount of fights that happen outside on my street lately is becoming a problem. Today I watched a guy get pushed to the ground and punched repeatedly. This is one of many times something like this has happened. I know you can't control people but they are your customers and I think you should consider security and figure out a way to break these fights up because the people that live on the street do not feel safe when there's a physical fight/altercation/someone screaming for help while being assaulted what seems like every other weekend in both parking lots your customers park/mingle in. I know Al's also could also be contributing to this but it seems to be people from Sharky's as I've watched the people fighting come from the back of your building. I live in the suburbs of San Gabriel, not DTLA...y'all are bringing bad energy to the street. Sorry to write this review but I don't wanna sit on my porch and watch people fight. There have also been instances where women have been assaulted by men in the parking lot but were chased off by a group of people don't know if this was Al's or Sharky's but either way, not a good look.

I'm responding to Jesse T's review: "Kim Kardashian would throw up a little in her mouth if she walked in here. Grimy, casual and strangely irresistible, like a Vincent Gallo film (complete with unnecessary sex scenes), - it's worth a visit." I actually think he was trying to have fun since everyone knows Kim Kardashian is trash who airs her dirty laundry for money. I will say that no one who frequents Sharky's would be caught dead in an establishment Kim would hang out in. First of all, the beers at Sharky's are $4, and most of the $500 bottle service places Kardashian frequents don't even have a pool table! I would definitely throw up in my mouth a little if Kim Kardashian walked into Sharky's.

Honest: this is a dive sports bar. Small, neighborhood joint with good a** music selection, pool table, chill patrons, and super nice bar tenders. I was hesitant to give them a try due to the reviews, but you can't be mad at what this place offers. It is what THEY OFFER and they do that WELL! A great selection of bottled beers (domestic, imported, some rare finds), some wines, bagged chips and nuts (you can bring in food). The important part, clean bathrooms and nice people. Don't go in there being all bourgeois- this is a NEIGHBORHOOD DIVE SPORTS BAR. And it's fun. Plus plenty of free on street parking AND a lot in the back. Don't get better than that. I appreciated everything about this spot. Gold Star

Great bar nothing but regulars no snappers and a good selection of beer. This place deserves your business.
