I visit this unique restaurant once a month since I love the special atmosphere that is exist in this place. The personel is highly helpful and well trained. The service is certainly quick. Also, the food you get is good. I came many times and I was never disappointed. The expense is honest. I suggest this restaurant to to everybody.

11/10/2019 Been here once before and I remember hand pulled or hand cut noodles in a braised beef noodle soup. That was quite a while ago. Now that I was cruising by not wanting to withstand the elements outside just for tacos, I gaze upon the new restaurant name. Fu Fu BBQ but the sign in the back is still SweetHome. Business in the front with a splash of new paint inside so you aren't blinded by the orange walls. I am guessing the same menu but different name because the same lamb skewers and tables are here to stay.

The worst skewer bbq restaurant I have ever been. The chicken skin was too salty, the eggplant was raw inside that I only tasted the garlic sauce on the top. The shrimp was tiny and 4 for $6??? The most ridiculous was the all lamb soup, it was totally deceptive, I only saw cabbage and black fungus and less than 5 pieces of fat lamb meat. It tasted disgusting and a whole bottle of MSG. Trust me and don't go to this restaurant, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I’d recommend the skewers specifically! It’s great flavor with reasonable price. The owner is also pretty friendly during my visit :) Especially for late night snacks~

Good food , good staff and very reasonable prices. Drove all the way from Culver City (near 405 freeway) to enjoy the Sam Woo experience

Great place for Chinese-style street food that offers a good variety of meats and veggie dishes! The place is casual, friendly, easy to get to! They open late until 2 AM, so a great late-night option for anyone... my favor always will be the Lamb skewers... all others are delicious as well!

Ok ok I really only had a few items from their menu but will explain for the 2 stars. We shared lamb, pork belly and chicken gizzard skewers. They were tasty but pricey for the quality. My friends claimed the beer they ordered tasted like a mix of old beers probably from their previous customers...I don't drink beer so I wouldn't know. The service was pretty bad. We even tried to put in orders in both Cantonese and Mandarin and they still got our order wrong. Some of my friends got their order way over 45 minutes. For some reason they ended up missing some of the items we ordered so we just decided to cancel in case they were going to take long on those orders as well. The manager was pretty upset with our group for being too loud. We ended up leaving to another spot to celebrate our friend's birthday. I don't recommend coming to this place unless you don't mind waiting and dealing with poor service when you can have the same elsewhere.

Very very very very bad service. I ask a question when I was 12 year old and when I die the waitress haven't answer my question. The food is the worst of the worst. The food service is the same as the normal service. The food is soooooo expensive I thought that this restaurant is for rich people only. In my opinion, this restaurant need more waiters because of the lack of service and providing food. No offense but the food is service in a cylinder for most of their food and it sound worst than it seem. When I see the food in the cylinder my appetite is long lost gone. They make a mistake on describe the food and they think that beef is bean curd. We got every every angry because the lack of RIGHT information about the food. The drink is disgusting. Imagine you ask for "Milk Tea" and they answer HOT or COLD and in my mind I ask myself what is that question. I immediately think that they will make milk tea using the powder pack that they buy from the store. When they serve the milk tea I immediately say that is make with milk tea powder. I have a ton of those pack at home. I feel very bad for the waitress because they try so hard. We been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for fried rices and that take so long I have about to die and my disappointment level when over 9000 because the FRIES RICES IS SO LITTLE AND IT TAKE YEAR TO MAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also recommend that you should order water because water taste the best and serve every fast.
