There is no service, the braised pork rice and rice are pitiful, and there is not even a glass of water. Not recommended! Very low cost

Main dish was palatable after adding salt and hot sauce. Appetizer was ok but looked like it had been sitting in the fridge since a couple days. Very unwelcoming atmosphere and owner. I was the only customer in there. Surprised they can stay in business.

This is probably the worst Taiwanese restaurant I have ever eaten at in the United States... We ordered many dishes: cold soybean sprouts, braised pork trotters, oyster omelette, blanched vegetables with minced meat, small intestines wrapped in large intestines, fried stinky tofu, and Taiwanese duck meat and rice noodle soup. None of them were delicious. The cold soybean sprouts feel like they are blanched in Sichuan and mixed with some salt, sugar, sesame oil, etc.; the braised pig's trotters have soft skin but the meat itself is very raw; the oyster omelette is super unpalatable, and it's still uncooked. The batter sold at any roadside stall in Taiwan should be able to beat this dish... The large intestine stuffed with small intestines is also amazing. They actually slice the glutinous rice intestines and sausages separately and then assemble them and serve them. This is also called a large intestine bun. 'Small intestine? ? I didn’t order large intestines and small intestines cut in black and white... The boss said that he is from Taipei, and I am also from Taipei. How come I have never eaten like this at night markets or roadside stalls in Taiwan since I was a child, and other people’s large intestines are usually wrapped in small intestines. Stuff minced garlic, minced ginger, coriander, cucumber slices and some spices between the glutinous rice sausage/sausage. This just comes with a very ordinary dipping sauce. It is really a failure; duck meat and rice noodles The soup was also so bland that it felt like drinking water. The taste of ginger was not enough, and there was no feeling of warmth at all after drinking it. The minced pork with blanched vegetables and the fried stinky tofu were also very ordinary, with no memorable points at all.If I had to sum up the food at this restaurant in one sentence, it would be 'tasteless': every dish is so bland, it feels like they don't know how to season it, and there are almost no sauces/dips attached to each dish. It's all the same, nothing new. If this kind of store opened in Taiwan, which is a competitive restaurant industry, it would be closed down in less than a week... As a Taiwanese, the food in this restaurant really makes me feel ashamed. I frowned from beginning to end while eating. No wonder there was no one there when I walked in. The banner outside the restaurant actually shows the word 'BEST'. It can only be said that the boss is either too confident or feels too good about himself... The dining environment is not very comfortable, it is dark and airless, and it is not a place where people want to chat while eating. All in all, I don’t recommend everyone to try this store, because you will definitely regret it, just like me?

Owner is very rude and unproffesional. Restaurant is dirty. The whole vibe is just not good. You do not feel welcomed here. Food is not fresh as they describe. The food tastes like its been in the refridgerator for a couple days and they just reheat it. This place makes Taiwan look bad. Skip this place, there are plenty of other good authentic taiwanese restaurants in the 626. This place won't be open for very long with this kind of poor service.

Was lured by the sign outside saying it was the best beef noodle soup rated by some magazine. Ordered that and the braised pork over rice with egg. The beef noodle was one of the worst I've had in my life. Broth was watered down. Not even soy sauce flavor! Beef was tender but tasteless as well. Noodles were over cooked. Was just generic tasting. Maybe used to be good butt has gone down hill?

Taiwan eats inside a very busy plaza, it's a big menu so I'll have to come back to try more. So far everything is on point, well priced and very friendly staff.

Great food, good service too. Family owned and very tradition home cooked style. I like the Scallion pancake, can't handle the stinky tofu.

*** 3.5 stars *** Date of visit: 12/3/2022 Considering all the great reviews here, honestly I was expecting a better dining experience and they don't even give us cup of water here! But the lady of the shop is super nice and friendly. Food comes very fast too. Anyways, these are my orders: - crispy pork chop with rice: ORDER IT! very good. Right crispiness, authentic Taiwanese taste of fried pork chop with the right type of flour used. - minced pork rice: the minced pork is pretty good and tasty, but border salty. The brown egg that comes with the rice is SUPER SALTY! It hit me hard when I took a a bite of it. - Taiwanese fried red-grain pork with rice: ORDER IT! Very good. The meat is lean, which is what a prefer, so definitely a plus in my book. - Taiwanese sausage ala carte: it is not what I used to have at other places and not what I like flavor-wise either. I feel it's slightly undercooked also... - Taiwanese fried tempura. SKIP IT! It's like something they just buy from grocery market and fry it. - crispy fried tofu: ORDER IT! it has a nice crisp batter on the outside and silky smooth on the inside. Have it with the garlic soy sauce that comes with it, super yummy! I will probably come back to try their other dishes, but most probably not in the near future...

This place feels like I'm back in taipei, except at an American price. Great proteins and great sides. This is a great place to get lunch.

Not professional as they declared , far away from authentic Taiwanese food. Don't expect too much
