Oh where do I even start... my love for matcha cheese cream will not fade after I move further away. Every time I come here I don't get disappointed with the consistency of their boba either. I'm glad I moved further so I don't get fat drinking too much of their drinks lol

Schedule says closed at 11:30pm on a Sunday night. It's currently 11pm and they closed already. The girl was mopping and door was locked. Was very excited to try. Bad management.

Good drinks and not too pricey compared to other places nowadays. Tiramisu is the best here.

Saturday I had my party time. Sunday is studying day! Dear Tan Cha: Thank you for allowing me and many other customers to buy just 1 drink and sit for hours to do our homework! I truly appreciate your generosity and hospitality. THIS IS THE BEST TEA PLACE TO DO YOUR STUDYING!

Very decent boba shop in SGV! I love the way they blend the cheese foam into any of the drinks. My personal favorite was the cocoa special with tiramisu foam. The attention was great. The bathrooms were clean and the internet was good enough for light usage. 100% recommended if you're in the area! P.S.: this boba shop is in one of those U-shaped plazas that San Gabriel is known for, so parking will have to be down the ramp (underground parking) or there's the occasional spot that opens up front but you can only stay there for 30 minutes or so.

The place was pretty quiet at 6pm in a lively shopping complex. The single worker seemed pretty nice and she was quick with the drink. The drink itself was pretty standard fare as a roasted tea drink. The cheese foam could have been a tad sweater but still nice contrast nonetheless to a roasted drink. Not too special but still hits the spot if you are wasting time waiting for friends. Lots of room inside to sit.

There are at least 5 boba shops within a one-block vicinity of the Hilton Hotel in San Gabriel. If you are eating in this plaza or nearby I would highly recommend stopping here to pick up boba. My friends and I popped in after having ramen at Tsujita. I ordered the royal Ceylon milk tea with tiramisu foam. It was delicious. The milk tea was nice and creamy. The tiramisu foam was a nice touch. They give you a cute spoon shaped like a shovel to eat the tiramisu foam.

Interacted with one staff who was not friendly but is helpful. Was not really addressed and didn't know when she was ready to take the order. What I originally wanted was not available. Only one similar drink was marked unavailable but not the group itself on the physical menu and not the screen so people wouldn't know without talking to staff, so it was a little misleading. the staff did offer alternatives right away although a bit fast. But did clarified and asked for confirmation which was nice/helpful and also alerted how the toppings would affect the sweetness.

It was so slow that one person made two cups in 10 minutes. If you can’t open it, please don’t open it. There was no one in the store. There was only a takeout order. People started to line up in the store, but no one cared about it. I bought two cups of the most ordinary milk tea and waited. 25 minutes

My Mom and I were picking up some delicious xiao long bao, tasty spicy and non-spicy noodles, and other foods from Shanghai Dumpling House. While we were waiting, I looked around the plaza to see what shops are available. I then saw Tan-Cha. I am a sucker for boba drinks. So here I went... Tan-Cha has lots of inside seating for a boba shop. Its menu is different from other boba shop. Tiramisu and cheese foam toppings were new to me. Got a taste tester for both. Thank you! Tiramisu is the better of the two IMHO. I got a total of 4 drinks... 1 Royal Ceylon Milk Tea with boba, egg pudding, and red bean for my Mom, 2 for my daughters... Hami Milkshake with cantaloupe and Brown Sugar Milk Tea with agar, and 1 Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with tiramisu and agar for me. I liked my roasted oolong milk tea... tea flavor was subtle and agar was great... nice and crunchy. My Mom didn't care for the royal ceylon milk tea as the tea flavor was not aromatic enough and red bean was too firm not soft enough. Hami milkshake with cantaloupe was okay and kinda of milky at the end of the drink per my eldest daughter. As for my youngest daughter, she enjoyed her brown sugar milk tea. Staff was friendly and patient. Ambience was open and spacious. Prices were decent, however, each topping added is about 75 cents each so it can add up. My Mom's drink ended up to be $8.20 since she had 3 toppings. I'll be back here to try their other unique drinks the next time I visit Shanghai Dumpling House. Yes, it has to be a tag team .. food + drink!!!

The service staff wore headphones and chatted on the phone during working hours, and their service attitude was very impatient. It was a deserted noon time. When she walked into the store and stood at the front desk, she couldn't tell whether she wanted to chat on the phone or work. After ordering the meal, he immediately turned around and walked to the kitchen, continuing to talk on the phone without checking the contents of the order. Since I had to wait for half an hour, I walked outside the store. When I went back to the store to pick up my meal, I saw the clerk in the back kitchen. I looked at her for half a second, but she immediately lowered her head and continued playing with her phone as if she didn't see me. Although I had been told that I would have to wait half an hour to pick up my meal, I walked to the counter with 3 minutes left and waited for a while. She was sitting in the back kitchen and walked slowly to the front desk. I could feel the waiter's impatience. , I still asked the clerk if it was ready, and she simply responded, "It will be at 12:30," without any extraneous words. From the moment I entered the store to the moment I left the store, I was the only one, and I was like air...

The watermelon in the cup of fruit tea ? is at least a week old, so don’t put it if it’s not fresh. Fruits are so cheap in the United States ? and I feel like vomiting after eating them.

I miss the Tancha which closed in Gardena, so I was really happy to see it in the same plaza as where I ate. Got the oolong milk tea with tiramisu foam and boba at 75% sweet. Yum, just as good as I remembered. Love their ingenious cups! There's a swivel opening for you to enjoy the tiramisu foam but also a straw opening if you want to get some boba. All boba shops should use this!Ambiance - really cute, it would totally be a nice place to hang. Parking: - Other than the parking right in front there's an underground lot
